Raves for the Carbonara which was sooo decadent but somehow delicate too! Noodles cooked to perfection made the sauce swim in every bite. The calamari was slap your nonna good! Neat twist with the fried pepperoni but perfectly crusted and fried squid. 10/10. The cheesy garlic bread was basically Detroit style pizza - the crust buttery and charred. The Italian sandwich...omg. The fillings are high quality meats that any salumeria would be proud of. The Italian style lager and their Loose Cannon cocktail are sooo good! Great service, if a bit deliberate in a rush, in a really ambient little space. Can't say enough. Estato fantastico

We walked in on a Friday night where it was already very busy. The hostess was kind enough to squeeze me, my husband and my son at some bar seats after a short wait. We sat at the bar with Jake and he was great. Attentive but not obtrusive. He made good recommendations and made polite conversation. We started with the cheesy garlic bread and while that sounds like a pretty basic dish, it was fantastic. My kid loved it so much, he ordered some to-go take back to the hotel for a snack. My son had the pizza and my husband had the alfredo. Both loved their meals. I had their lemon chicken pasta dish and it was the best thing I've eaten in a long time. The chicken was braised and fall apart, packed with complex flavors. The homemade pasta soaks up the delicious sauce. The lemon made the dish bright and flavorful. If we had stayed in Traverse City for any longer, we would have gone to eat here every single day. If we come back, this will definitely be a place we visit again. Thank you for the great meal!!

It wasn't super busy. Fortunately, once we were seated, our waitress was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcomed. We decided to do a flight. My husband and I tried 5 different cider each. I was a huge fan of the cider that reminded me of fall (apples) called Octorock. But the tropical one, skinny dip sunset, came as a close runner up with pineapple and passion fruit strongly coming through. I also tried the Brom, peach and strawberry feels. The peach was probably my least favorite since I couldn't really taste it. It could have just been my taste buds, too! My husband's favorites were the vanilla and the cinnamon ones. I tried both and agreed. The vanilla really came through and was very aromatic and the cinnamon made me think of fall, especially when I drank it after the octorock. I wonder if they have a combination of both in the fall? We also got dinner while there. I had the fennel sausage pizza with their housemate Italian sausage. It was so good! My husband had the jerk pork shoulder served with rice and beans and said it was delicious and flavorful. Overall, it was a successful dinner and a great way to try different cider! The place has modern decor, well spaced larger tables (even the two seaters are quite roomy). They have an outdoor patio that is dog friendly. Since we took our pup on a couple of adventures, she stayed at the house and napped but we saw a few dogs enjoying the beautiful weather and the social time with their humans. This is definitely a great place for a meal or of you're feeling adventurous about ciders. They have a wide variety of selection, and quick, fantastic service (minus grumpus).

There are no waiters, so you order everything at the bar then they bring your food to you with a table number. I ordered the raspberry beer and it was really good. I typically don't like beer, but I love fruit flavors. As an appetizer, we got the red pepper hummus and it was meh--I didn't really like it. It was thick and had the texture of cold refried beans and instead of pita, it was served with tortilla chips that tasted like Tostitos brand. For my flatbread pizza, I chose the Wolverine which was topped with pineapple, pepperoni, jalapeños. I've never had pineapple on pizza so I can't really be a good judge, but it was alright. I liked how thin the crust was. For dessert, we got the mini ice cream bars as recommended by the woman sitting near us. They're Ice Box Brand Ice Cream Bars by a Michigan-based company. They sell two sizes: regular and mini. I chose a mini toffee crunch and it was the perfect size. It was really good. I'd love to just buy these ice cream bars to have at home!!

When you come in, you are immediately and pleasantly assaulted by their dessert display case so feast your eyes and meanwhile, plan to save some room in your belly because trust me, you'll want some of their dessert. As a result, I ordered a salad, the up north cobb which was good and moderately filling and my husband had the special which was a chicken salad sandwich served with chips. We both had a nice lighter lunch followed by some delicious desserts. Generally, I order dessert and my husband eats what I cannot but this time, he orders his own. I had the cherry crumble and he had the sticky toffee pudding. Their dessert definitely satisfies the sweet tooth craving. So good and so much food! Service was fine. We ended up with the bartender as our waitress who had to do both roles during a busy time. She was a bit flustered but was generally pleasant whenever she came to the table to get our order and check on us. I only wish we were able to come here for dinner but lunch definitely did not disappoint and the dessert was epic!

The spring rolls are probably my favorite dish on the menu, but literally everything we have tried was phenomenal. Some highlights, besides the spring rolls, are the crudo and chicken wings. This is the standard by which every restaurant should operate. I want to address some critiques I've seen in the reviews about the new menu: I have never tried the old menu, but I have lived in NYC and Orlando--both of these cities have extremely high-quality Vietnamese cuisine. Literally some of the best in the world.
