Shortly thereafter, she came out and greeted me. Bless her heart, my hair was cemented together with the ungodly amount of gel I use. But she washed it for me. And she took her time and gave me a hell of a head massage. Not to mentioned the product she was using made my head feel all tingly and smell like a candy cane! Amanda took her time cutting my hair and engaging with me and even cleaned up my beard. The only downside was the pricing... men's haircuts are $30. But in this case, it was well worth it!

A sucker for genuine customer service…read more I want to give an insightful review. Both Michael and Kristin were accommodating and nice. Each one offered me a drink on two different occasions. I want to be kind and clear. Michael, from what I can tell, is still learning about the world of certain hair cuts. He takes his time and wants to do the best job he possibly can. In my situation, Kristin was there to double check and offer small changes to improve his technique. This is no knock to Michael, but to allow other customers patience and understanding. I appreciate the attention to detail. I have lived here for a few years now and Michael and Kristin did very good job on my shoulder length hair trim. I can only imagine how hard it is for Michael with having a different type of hair to cut. I would give 4 stars overall for the haircut. I was won over by the customer service and this pushes my review to 5 stars. Almost instantly I felt like I was at home with family talking in the living room. They were actually interested in what I was saying and I never got the feeling "they were making conversation" everything flowed nicely. I was moving my heard all over the place and I am sure that added another obstacle for Michael. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will be returning again. I did purchase my haircut through groupon. What a deal! The process of redeeming was simple and I had no issues whatsoever. They also stayed open past hours to complete my haircut. Like I said, I am a sucker for genuine customer service. Thank you guys!

I decided to try it out for a cut and color before a trip south to visit family. I wanted a dramatic change so I requested a senior stylist and made an appointment with Mileena for cut and color, and Karlie for brow wax and tint. I had shoulder length dark blonde/light brown hair with lighter blonde highlights but I missed having bold hair. I mentioned when I scheduled I was thinking about going cool red/purple with a peachy money piece and they passed the note to my stylist. Mileena already had an idea in mind when I sat down. She mixed 3 colors for the perfect red and off we went. She was so sweet to talk to, and everyone in the salon had a great vibe. When we first finished I wasn't thrilled with the money piece (my roots rebelled the peach) and we game planned to try a pink overlay to fix the neon orange tones. Took just a little longer and I felt so bad asking for a change but Mileena wanted this project to be perfect! And it turned out amazing. She is INCREDIBLE, I'm so happy with my hair! Karlie was also very wonderful. We game planned the shape of my brow (I sucked at telling her I didn't want them so rounded but she understood) and asked if I preferred wax or threading. I didn't care so she did a mix of both to get the perfect shape, and she tinted my brows a touch darker to match the new tones of my hair. My only complaint is that I just discovered them now and only have time for one more visit before I move to the lower 48. Great hairdressers and brow stylists are hard to find!

I had been waiting for three weeks for my hair coloring appointment. I had a lot going on at the time, and misremembered the time. It was set for 9, but I remembered it as 10. At 9:55, I called and said I was on the way and about the park, but might be five minutes late. The front desk girl cheerily reassured me that was fine. I arrive at 10, no one at the front desk. After about ten minutes, the receptionist came out, seemingly confused. She took my name and said the appointment was actually at 9, and they'd sent thr hairdresser home because I didn't show up. I stared at her blankly. Got the vibe she was just there to get a discount on shampoo and collect a paycheck. I understand coming in late was my mistake, but usually salons call you if you're fifteen minutes late. I received no call. Not only that, but when I called the morning of, the receptionist had no idea what was going on or who I could be, showing how clueless she was. So. I get rescheduled for three weeks down the line. I'm sad at this point because I really need my hair fixed, and getting appointments for Saturday is difficult. She SAYS she schedules me, and tells me ill get a confirmation text. Fast forward three weeks to the day before the appointment, I have no confirmation. I call them asking what happened, and if I still ha e my appointment. The receptionist has no record of it and says "well the people scheduled for Saturday had done so a month in advance." Mmmk? So did I? Lavendar, maybe hire competent employees to deal w scheduling. The current crew gives off ditzy, clueless teenage girl vibes. It isnt thst hard to schedule hair appointments. Will not be returning.
