I was in town to attend a family wedding. Audrey was very nice throughout the process. Somewhere during the service things went wrong. Highlights around my face came out orange and all the beautiful light blonde I walked in with was covered by a dark and drab toner. Nothing could be done. It was 2 hours before the wedding .I realize it's only "hair "but it will be forever reflected in my family's wedding photos and quite honestly, I was devastated and embarrassed. I avoided being in photos as much as possible. Audrey I would highly recommend classes to upgrade your skills as a colorist. Now for the amazing part. For the next day, I was able to make an appointment with the salon manager, Rebecca. She knew exactly what needed to be done. She corrected the color and did her best to bring my hair back to its original blonde and take out those bands of orange around my face. Her years of experience were reflected in the outcome. She bleached my roots only and cost $150, had some toner $60 and cut $55. I did Anticipate at least $200 for services, however it was a bit pricey for what I got. I asked for a basic cut, took about 30 mins for 2.5 inches off with layers...When finished, I loved my hair color from the light in the salon. So pleased, it looked solid! However when I came home I could still see a noticeable band from where the roots were bleached to the rest of my hair, so it definitely wasn't well blended and not worth $210 dollars in product. I was willing to pay to have that happen but unfortunately it fell short. My complaint is not the price, good service comes with a higher price.. I just wished the finished product would have been worth the price and been blended better. I get my hair done a lot and this was just a bit disappointing, knowing that the color band is very noticeable and I'm just not pleased.

She truly cares for the health of your hair and for you as her client. If you're thinking about getting extensions do your research!! I came to Olivia from having tape in extensions that ripped my hair out and damaged it further. Wether you are getting extensions to let your hair grow while you enjoy them in the process or just enjoy longer and thicker hair: make sure you are going to go to somebody who will keep your hair healthy and long like Olivia because they can unknowingly be so damaging. I have two rows of 22 inch hand tied extensions and they are so thick and beautiful! You'd think that would be heavy, two thick and long rows of hair - but I am never uncomfortable! They are so lightweight it's like they're hardly there. I have been seeing Olivia for my extensions and color since November of 2018 and I just bought my second set of hair in January 2020! My hair lasted me a year and 2-3 months!! That's incredible and nearly unheard of with hair extensions. And it's not like I am overly loving to them, I used heat on them, washed my hair every couple days.. everything normal. Worth every penny to me to be treated like a queen, keep my hair healthy and get quality and BEAUTIFUL hair! Olivia is the best in Alaska. Nee gave me a really excellent consultation and we discussed my wishes at length. We agreed to a game plan prior to my cut which was a fairly big departure from my existing haircut. Nee took her time and consulted with me about length along the way. In the end I got a really look changing haircut that was styled impeccably. It enhanced my existing color, and made me feel like a million bucks. I watched all the other stylists also working on their clients, and it seems like there's a really competent group in here.
