The vegan plate had black beans, white rice, plantains, and a side salad. The bandeja paisa had beans, a fried egg, chicharron, steak, rice, plantain, and chorizo. The meat was perfectly grilled but the chicharron was a little tough but still good. The vegan plate had much flavor -- the beans were tasty and the rice fresh. They were very generous with the plantains. The complimentary tortilla chips and salsa were so fresh and delicious. The spinach empanada was a little tough - it was crispy but there was less spinach than I would have expected and the cheese in it wasn't really melted either. Overall the food was very fresh and delicious. Parking can be tricky bc their lot fits only 3 cars. We parked a couple blocks in the neighborhood. Front of the store parking also seems limited. Service was kind and efficient. Food came out in less than 5-10 minutes. Place is well decorated and has nice seemingly traditional decor inside.

We went with the cheese bread and the mixed plate. You could have fed 4 grown men. This is where you appreciate true to ethnicity food. No messing...no pretending and no nonsense. I don't think I could have bought the ingredients, seasoned and cooked this for any less than what we paid. The table next to us ordered the fried fish...as full as I was...I wanted to taste that fish. La Finda Antioquena, thank you for a great experience. We will recommend this place and WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

The woman (Sandra) who came up to our table was to ask us to move to a smaller table. Mind you we sat there so we could watch the World Cup game as we waited and ate. She was so rude about it!!! Then the waiter to finally came to take our order was also rude. Didn't greet us, they lack manners. I liked one of the empanadas but they have a different name, other than that their food was bland tasteless. I came here with a Colombian friend who wanted to try Colombian food in LA she liked her plate but it was the most simple thing you could order, steak rice and beans. Would never go back here ever... oh also the place was filthy they should keep their tables and floors clean come on.

BOOM!!!! A must stop…read morefor Columbian! Know that this is a very busy place to though. This was a truly amazing experience into the flavors of a Colombian meal. I decided to go with here to taste a different part of the world. The dish I selected, is the Banda Paisano Trifeca which is a macro and micronutrient bomb of delicious vegetables, starches, and protein. Apparently many with very hard physically demanding jobs need a "strong meal," and within Columbian Culture this dish was formed. Beautiful story, AND it has blood sausage!!! The place was slammed but got me the first available seat in 10 mins or so, and though we both couldn't communicate beyond the common cordial words and menu semantics, her demeanor and body language was very inviting and courteous. This place was a class act. Get you some!!!

I live 4 hours away from this place, so everytime I am in the Los Angeles area I try to stop here…read more I ate at this place on Monday 6/9 around 5 pm knowing that they were closing at 6 pm. Flavor was spot on as usual. Things I did not enjoy this time: 1. I was charged for 2 chorizos when I had only ordered 1. (Always ask for printed invoice and check before leaving). 2. I was charged $6 for a chorizo that was as long as my thumb. In the past their chorizos were much bigger and cheaper. (Do not order chorizos a la carte). 3. The meat in my "bandeja paisa" was ver fatty. Maybe my negative experience had to do with the fact that the restaurant was about to close.

WOW. The fries alone could have been lunch. The yucca was perfectly fried, and they did not skimp on the toppings. WORTH every penny and calorie. The Chicarron was perfectly crispy-fied. Plantano was perfect. Pickled onions were beautifully tart. This could have fed 2 people. Parking. Street and paid lots. The lot next to the Quarter KBbq place is a great deal ($5 all day before 3pm) We came for lunch, and happened upon a World Cup match. Seating is comprised of solid wooden tables and high backed benches;I felt like I was in church as everyone sat facing the same direction, all eyes up on the screen. LOCALS- PRO-TIP. The restaurant was pretty dirty and the bathrooms were DISGUSTING. I had to beg a restaurant across the street to use their restroom. But, the food we ordered was mostly really good and the service was very friendly and accommodating. We even had a birthday cake with us and they offered to put it in their fridge for us and didn't charge us any extra for cake plates. We had a large group so we ordered some drinks and the giant sampler platters. Everything on them was really good except the chicken wings and pork belly were a little dry and nothing special. Pretty meh. But I loved everything else. The other thing that I don't personally love is that they have a have DJ playing music and talking as well as large tvs playing sports, so the restaurant is really loud. Like you can't hear the person right next to you. If that's your vibe, then check it out but I felt really overstimulated by the time we were done and couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm glad I got to try Escala but I don't know that I'd seek this place out again, unless it just happened to be convenient. Parking sucks in this area and there are so many amazing restaurants in K-town. I'd rather keep exploring.

We were repeatedly lied to about when our food would be ready--each time we asked, the time kept changing (5 minutes, then 6, then longer). We waited 2 and a half hours for our food. Only one plate was brought out at a time, with about 15 minutes between each one. The Cuban guy got our order wrong and brought the wrong plates. My dad paid after being told the last two plates were ready and just needed to be packaged, but that was not true. After taking the payment, the Cuban guy ignored us and started just talking to another customer. I had 2 ask twice after he finally got the food that I needed the food to leave he was purposely keeping it to hang on to us longer. He did not like that we kept asking him about the time of our food so he was purposely doing things to be rude. The food was terrible: some plates were undercooked and others were burned. On top of that, it was expensive this is not a high end restaurant so why try to charge like one By far the worst restaurant experience I've had.

The wait staff was so polite and professional. The empenadas could stand alone as en entree on their own. They were better than what my abuelita made. The exterior was perfectly crispy and the interior was dichotomous with the exterior and the filling was so flavorful and drizzling aji was game changer. I should have ordered 3 orders of the empanadas. I am also a huge fan of morcilla and their morcilla did not disappoint in the least nor did the yucca frita. I got the Plata Montanero/Bandeja Paisa and it reminded me of Bogota so much. Such a nostalgic meal for me and Sabor Colombiano prepared it perfectly. My gf got the Chuleta Vallecaucana and she loved it. We also ordered a couple fruit drinks that were so vibrant and flavorful. I wish there was at least one Colombian restaurant up here in Oregon. I guess we will have to find a reason to head down south when I am craving food of my people. The service was perfect and my only gripe was that the musician's speaker was way too loud but the servers allowed us to move to the farthest table which did help matters. Thank you again to the chefs at Sabor Colombiano for helping me introduce proper and authentic Colombian food to my gf.

I enjoyed some lengua en salsa from my friend's plate. The yucca here is good, too. We asked for hot sauce because everything that night needed some salt (and that's okay!) - our server provided an aji verde salsa, but it was more like a chimichurri because it didn't add much spice. My Colombian friends let me know that this was potentially insulting. There's a decent-sized parking lot, it was free on the Friday night that I went. It looks like there's normally an attendant. Seating is in a large covered outdoor area. I hear this is a fantastic environment for watching Colombian fubol matches. NOTE: this place is listed as "ORIGEN 57" on some maps apps.
