They were pretty busy with many people watching the World Cup games at their restaurant enjoying the ambiance. I ordered a Chicken Arepa (La Rubia) and my friend ordered La Misionera; everything was delicious!!! We got to try their empanadas and pandebono which were soft in the inside and crispy on the outside. Their appetizers had the perfect combo of crunch and flavor. The wait staff was so polite and professional. The empenadas could stand alone as en entree on their own. They were better than what my abuelita made. The exterior was perfectly crispy and the interior was dichotomous with the exterior and the filling was so flavorful and drizzling aji was game changer. I should have ordered 3 orders of the empanadas. I am also a huge fan of morcilla and their morcilla did not disappoint in the least nor did the yucca frita. I got the Plata Montanero/Bandeja Paisa and it reminded me of Bogota so much. Such a nostalgic meal for me and Sabor Colombiano prepared it perfectly. My gf got the Chuleta Vallecaucana and she loved it. We also ordered a couple fruit drinks that were so vibrant and flavorful. I wish there was at least one Colombian restaurant up here in Oregon. I guess we will have to find a reason to head down south when I am craving food of my people.
