I didn't even tell her what my profession was and she was able to tell the areas that cause me discomfort throughout the week. She targeted the areas of concern and intensely concentrated on them. I loved that she offered essential oils and there was no additional charge for them. The hot stone addition was relaxing and made me feel like a pat of butter on freshly made toast. The setting was exquisite, the massage expertise unbeatable, and the price incredibly competitive and worth every dime. But since my expectation for a massage establishment is a tranquil ambience, these occurrences seemed quite contrary to the goal. Still, I will definitely return here. The massage itself was perfect and at $60 an hour, in Washington, that's a deal. That's pretty much the standard 1 hr massage price for me, in Hawai'i, in Korea. It wasn't until visiting Washington, where most places charge $80 to $120 for an hour, that I stopped getting monthly massages, which my doctors have recommended but insurance doesn't cover. There are clear signs that remind patrons to not request inappropriate services. It's disappointing to me that people take advantage of Asian establishments like that. Asian masseurs, unlike others, may not ask you any questions to begin with, they just massage until they feel the tension in your body. As long as these rates continue, I'll gladly return. Though make sure the bring cash because there's an added fee if you use a card.
