My husband asked me to make an appointment for him. His truck was hit by a rock driving on the freeway a few weeks ago and it chipped his windshield. I went on their website and loved that there was so many openings both in person and mobile service. I've never done their mobile service and thought that would be the best since I have 2 littles I didn't want to take them and have to wait in the lobby when they can just come to us and we can comfortably stay at home. There was an opening for next day service. They provide 2 time frames I chose the afternoon 1pm-6pm. I received an email confirmation and a text with the name of my assigned technician. The day of my appointment Alex called me and said he was about 25mins away and asked if the truck was parked in a shaded area. Alex arrived on time, he was professional, courteous and he very knowledgeable. He went over everything in detail and explained the process and possibilities. He worked for about 30mins! Alex did an amazing job! We went through our car insurance and had no deductibles. We had such a great experience! I've always liked working with safelite. Bring it here to fix, don't think twice. Went to the dealership and told I needed to do a lot more than what was needed. I purchased a part for a fraction of the price that they will install upon arrival. Have to wait for the process to happen but in this case, I can still drive the car, carefully ( like drive like it's 1990 before sensors told you if the lane next to you was clear) but will save hundreds of dollars!!! We have a Mercedes that has a windshield issue that will be brought in for service. Spend the money where it's needed but hands down. This is the place to do it with calibration.
