I've had so much stuff in my detached garage for so long . I'd been wanting to find some one to…read morecome and just haul it away. Well I got incredibly lucky when I found Jamal the young business owner of Quick Help Junk Removal. I left a message with what I needed done and a request for a quote and received a response immediately!! I was told about different size trucks they have and based on the size of my garage I was quoted a reasonable price for them to remove and haul away everything in the garage. They were actually available to come later that very day to take care of it for me!! They arrived very promptly and were so polite and helpful. As the truck got full Jamal had different suggestions for options of what would be best to put on the truck and what might be best for another time if I needed. They took everything I asked from loose wood around the walls to old tables that other family members thought we had to save!! And they even swept the floor!! Had I known how easy it would be to hire them I would have done it ages ago. I absolutely plan to hire them again for anything that I need cleaned and removed. In fact they said if I wanted the actual garage taken down and removed they could do that too!! Highly recommend these young men!!

I was asked to have someone be there 30 minutes before the movers were scheduled to be there. I had queried whether to have the movers would like to utilize a basement bay or the front door. I was assured that the movers would prefer to utilize the front door. The movers had a 2 hour window and they never made it to the office in that time frame. They called 20 minutes after the window and said they would be there in 15 minutes. 45 minutes after the 2 hour window they called back saying that they were at the basement bay. I informed them that I was told that they would prefer the front door. It was not until 60 minutes after the 2 hour window that they made it to the office. It took them 15 minutes to move the truck from the back of the building to the front. They were pleasant enough. They moved the items to where they needed to go. I am not impressed that after all the communication there was time lost and more expense for us because of the lack of clarity between Mike and his movers. It cost me approximately $50 because of their lack of communication

On our last trip in May to Glendale Metal, we only received .30 cents a pound for our network wiring (Category 5, 5E, and 4C Copper Wire. The price goes up and down but at the time it was worth about $1.30 per pound. We had 229 LB @ 1.30 should have yielded about $300 but instead got only $69 which isn't worth the effort to recycle. My Technician called me while still on site and I sent him back in as this has happened before with price. They weren't successful in getting anymore money and was told .30 was the going rate. Before I write any reviews, I like to give the companies time to reply and I sent an e mail to admin@glendalemetals.com and received no reply. I then sent an e mail to their other company admin@marinerecycling.ca and again received no reply. I wouldn't recommend taking your copper wire to Glendale only to get shortchanged. Maybe if they responded to customer concerns, I wouldn't have to post a negative review.
