I've been wanting to visit this place for ages, but i haven't been around this area in months.
When I saw that Numra was having a biryani feast this week and was cooking her mum's recipe. I knew i needed to get my share.
I headed here today for the biryani.
The Pakistani Kitchen is set inside Eat 17's Market. It's like a food court with 3-4 options, of which the Empress Market is one of them. There's common seating around the space. Not much of it, but most people I saw visiting while I was there this afternoon, were taking away boxes to eat at the office or elsewhere.
The regular menu includes traditional Pakistani Street food like bun kebabs - that are very yum. There are also bowls of dhal and baingan bharta (aubergine) which are sold as hot pots.
The food is super yum. There are no drinks available here. But the adjoining Eat17 supermarket has a large range of alcoholic and non alcoholic chilled drinks and freshly squeezed orange juice too.
If I'm in Hammersmith anytime, I'll definitely be making the detour to eat here read more
