Not only is this place close to where my family lives, but it's beautiful! Even though I only go to 2-3 classes here a year, the owner always remembers me and greets me warmly. The instructors could not be nicer or more professional, but the workouts are always well planned and fun. I also appreciate the gentle hands-on assists to correct my form and find them very helpful. I've noticed that instructors tend to call people out by name as well, which is very motivating and frankly pretty impressive. As mentioned earlier, the studio is beautiful, immaculately clean (this applies to the bathroom as well) and well stocked with tubes, balls and different weights. I can be quite a judgmental germophobe at times, but it's so clean in the barre room that I did not think twice about allowing my hair to touch the carpeting or using a studio mat. A few other nice features are the water bottle filling station, cubbies for storing your stuff, a boutique with some super cute workout gear and easy parking in a huge lot. The schedule offers classes at many times throughout the day and for all different levels. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a member here!

The studio itself is awesome! It is super clean and sleek, giving off a radiant vibe the moment you walk in. There are cubicles available in the back of the studio where customers can store their belongings during class. Don't have barre socks? RISE has you covered. They offer a handful of different colors for you to choose from and they are fairly inexpensive as well. Not to mention, they have an entire wall of adorable merchandise that can be purchased by the customers. Being my first barre class ever, I was SUPER nervous and had no idea what to expect. My anxiety was instantly relieved by the friendly staff and the welcoming customers taking the class. I was shocked at how kind these people were. Honestly, some of the nicest people I have ever met while taking a fitness class. The instructor who taught the previous class walked my friend and I through what equipment we needed and explained what barre was all about which was great since both of us had no idea what we were doing. Our instructor was wonderful as well, extremely motivating throughout the entire class, and corrected any movement that I was doing wrong which was super helpful. They play great music too which helps push you through the pain you may be experiencing as you go about the workout. I definitely left the studio feeling like I got a great workout in. I am so happy that I found this studio and will definitely be back very soon for more classes!

I have two daughters who received their dance training from Andrea Kramer at Ballet Forte. They…read morestarted with her when she was in teaching in Warren, NJ but her reputation preceded her. It didn't take long for dance moms from other schools in the area to hear about Andrea's amazing pointe technique immediately after she landed here in Chester, NJ. Dancers improve so quickly with Andrea's teaching methods, you have to see it to believe it. Starting at a young age with proper technique is so much easier than having to relearn it properly. To share a personal story: one of my daughter's, who started dancing in diapers at age two, decided to stop dancing at the end of eighth grade. Instead, she cheered for both scholastic and competition teams in HS, but deep down I knew that she was not happy without dance in her life. We brought a dancer friend to meet Andrea during the summer before her senior year, and Andrea announced that she will be offering two dance tracks this year; contemporary and classical, and that my daughter should come and check it out. it was as if someone pinched her and said "go for it," and she said "I think I"ll try it." She has not stopped dancing since, and I am so grateful to Andrea for welcoming her back to her studio as a senior and helping to get her ready for college auditions. My daughter is proof that good solid technique is not forgotten, it's just put on a back burner for a little while until you are willing to go for it. My daughter is now a freshman at a wonderful conservatory, which would not be possible without the personal guidance and top-notch dance instruction from Andrea Kramer at Ballet Forte!

Her faculty, guest teachers and choreographers have tremendous professional dance experience and training that you will not find at any of the other local studios.
