I recently did a 5 month campaign with EMPKT. I worked specifically with Nakia Cadet. She was a joy to work with. We discussed my vision and came up with a list of goals. We reached every goal that was set! Naika was very diligent. She was very responsive and always replied in a timely manner. Naika did a great job of helping expand some of the ideas I already had. An absolute embarrassment, from start to finish. Very poorly written press releases. No clear campaign strategy, leading to a scattershot approach that basically amounted to spamming their list of media outlets. As they don't seem to have any relationships at the outlets they pitch to, their results were humorously unimpressive - podcasts with no listeners, web sites with no readers, blogs with no followers. For $4,000, you'd do better to buy a used car and drive around promoting your business yourself. Definitely not recommended. Stay away from this company. read more

When I did a thorough search to find a NYC Public Relations firm to represent my 501(c)3 nonprofit, J-Bird Music for The Arts (supporting Music & Performing Arts in NY Education), EMPKT PR shined like a beacon above all others. I had a one-on-one meeting in person with Beatrice Kimmel to make sure she understood our organization's specific needs. Much work was done by Beatrice Kimmel herself, to do the research and then visit several locations in person, along with myself, to find just the right venue. One thing that impressed me greatly, right from the start of securing EMPKT PR, was that the company was "right on it" when it came to keeping a sense of purpose and urgency in this fast paced industry. But the topper was when I first started using the company and I'd receive the most detailed monthly reports with each stating (1) what they've done for us so far......(2) what they're in the process of doing that particular month.....and (3) what's on the horizon for the next month. This was extraordinary and much needed for our nonprofit.
