It's not every day I am in front of a camera, and those flashbacks of the Olan Mills elementary school pictures still haunt me. Before the shoot, Christopher talked to me to understand my creative endeavors and how I planned to use the photo, which was critical to capturing the emotion I wanted to convey. We then reviewed shots, making adjustments along the way. Within two hours, we were able to talk about objectives, do the photo shoot, retouch the final image and then Christopher sent me a link to my photo. Easy breezy! I highly recommend Kaleidoscope Pictures for your next head shot, portrait or whatever you'd like to capture. ~Kym

Representing a small business with a limited budget, my efforts of finding the right fit for my client was challenging. I was not willing to sacrifice the quality of the end product, I wanted fair and realistic prices and did not want to work with people that were unwilling to hear our vision. Kaleidoscope Pictures delivered. My client and I were thrilled with not only the high quality videos but the entire process. Christopher and his team were helpful, flexible, responsive in all communications and a joy to work with. I would definitely work with them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our company, etouches, came to them with a vision for our new company videos and the team at Evolve helped us bring them to life. I had reached out to numerous production companies, and within 15 minutes, our producer, Daniel Lafrentz, responded quickly and diligently, wanting to learn more about our project. Upon doing my research on their website (which had a great library of their work) and interacting further with Daniel, we realized Evolve was the right production company fit for our project. Once we agreed to work together, Daniel, our producer/director Tommy Maples, and our additional producer, Shiva Kumar, joined us on weekly calls helping to us to formulate what began as an initial concept, into a well-written script and great visuals. When it came time to shoot the video, Tommy flew from their home base in San Francisco, to join Shiva at their New York Studio. Before the shoot, they agreed to meet with us at our Norwalk, CT headquarters and discuss the various details that needed to be smoothed out the day before the shoot. While they had a million other things on their schedule that day, it meant a lot to our company that they were willing to take the train from New York to better understand our company culture make sure we covered all of our bases the day before the shoot. On the day of the shoot, we watched Tommy and Shiva work their magic in the New York studio, bringing what started as a storyboard to life, coaching our actor to execute what we needed...and did so successfully. They were patient and very accommodating to all of our suggestions and needs on the day of the shoot. Fast forward to now, and we've received the final project and couldn't be happier. Evolve Media understood our need for a simple, clear and powerful video. They are professional, innovative, and creative, and were extremely accommodating with our rounds of edits. We strive to work with people and companies who have the same values as ours - to care, grow and play - and we found that in Evolve. The final products are even better than we could have imagined.

For New York video production, Evolve is just top-notch. It's that simple. Through inVNT, I've…read moreworked with them on several pieces in the past year. They're clever, professional, and fun - and the work is consistently beautiful, from the raw footage to the finished product.

There are so many set pieces to choose from and options of photo backdrops - The studio owner, Adam was very understanding and accommodating when it came to several of our special needs when it came to the time that we needed at the studio. We explained the look that we were going for and by the time we got to the studio Adam had everything set up the way we discussed. We were even welcome to come the day before to set-up but had no time to do so. - Communicating with Adam was very easy, he was receptive of all our photographer's questions and worked closely with her to make sure all the lighting etc was set up perfectly. - We had a long wedding day and by the time we got to the studio the whole wedding party was hungry so Adam facilitated a food order while we were busy shooting Overall we had a terrific experience!

We used the studio a few months back for a home interiors photo shoot, and most recently for an immersive, themed carnival event--which was absolutely perfect in the space with the carousel horses, and the victorian-style lamps and furniture, all available as props, free of charge. Things that are worth mentioning about the space: -Makeup table with large mirror, good bar stools with backs, clamp-on light source, plenty of outlets -Wheeled garment rack + standard garment steamer -Kitchenette with full-size refrigerator, bar/counter space for food, large sink -Decent sized bathroom, large enough for changing -Costume closet available upon request -Autopoles with several different seamless options -Large windows in front, so very good daylight, but no means of blacking out windows if needed. Recommend shooting at night if that's what your lighting calls for. -It is a large, raw, warehouse space, so expect the floors to be dusty/unfinished. I believe Adam has alternate flooring options, would need to ask. -Air conditioning, ceiling fans, heat, wifi Versatile space, laid-back host, will definitely book again and highly recommend.
