Hopefully we won't have to have this done again but, if we do we will definitely be calling Pinnacle.

The six or so guys were digging all day in the heat to put in more than 20 pilings to stop my house from continuing to sink. It had already moved enough in my first 1 1/2 years living here that I had two deadbolts that would no longer work without gouging out the hole for the strike. The all Latino crew worked harder than any crew I have ever watched, and with no complaints, and nothing but a courteous and friendly attitude. The cherry on top however was the amazing cleanup after two days of digging, outside and inside my house. They patched up all the holes in my bedrooms floors very nicely, and swept up and cleared all their trash. The level of detail was not missed on me as they meticuously replaced bricks I had near faucets and walkways and did a very good job of leaving my yard exactly as it was before this massive digging project. What I am still scratching my head over is how they could repair the small, exposed aggregate on both the front and back porch so you would not even know they had jack-hammered a hole in those areas. This was art and not construction. Thanks amigos and anyone needing foundation work in the Dallas Metro area could not find a better company to do the work. There is a good reason they are are rated A+ with BBB (I always check)

First off, we didn't buy our tile from them because we found a fantastic deal at Lowe's, but they were willing to install the tile anyways--not every flooring place is willing to do that. Trust me, we shopped around for labor quotes and got told several times that we had to buy the tile from a flooring company or they wouldn't install it. Floor Barn was great and willing to work with us. They didn't have the cheapest quote, but they were local and had great reviews, so we decided to give them a shot. We are so glad we did! Don and the team are all true professionals. Of the four contractors we had working in the house, Floor Barn was the only one that we didn't have a single issue with. We would have LOVED to give olympic our business but unfortunately they are out of this world outrageously greedy and overpriced. $25,000 to encapsulate our crawlspace which equates to a few days of labor per their timeline. The materials can easily be found on sites like diy.crawlspaceninja.com, http://crawlspace-diy.com, or many other sites for $2-4000. Per their own job ads they pay $30/hour to their crew which on a high side of 3 guys 8 hours a day for 4 days is only $2,880 in labor. They wanted to make $15,000++ in profit from one simple job. What home owners outside highland park can afford these outrageous prices for a simple drain and plastic liner on their crawl space floor?! Very sad they were so greedy we would have gotten many additional services from them since Ross was so great. Attached is their prices they quoted per item for reference. Robert Baldwin of KPost, however, advised me to escalate my claim by invoking an appraisal process in my policy that required a re-inspection with an independent adjuster. Long story short, USAA changed its decision and agreed to pay out for a new roof, saving me $15k. USAA was very non-responsive and difficult but Robert kept pressing over six months until we got them to act. Then when it was time to replace the roof, his team did an excellent and professional job under a tight timeline. Robert and KPost will definitely get my business in the future. Some brickwork is cracked around suspended arches and cornerstone decorative pieces (e.g. above garage doors) but obviously has been for decades. I specifically called Cornerstone because I wanted a serious contractor who does actual poured footings, not that stacked cylinder mess that could actually crack your foundation worse as they use your house for the jack leverage. Dave was on time, courteous and (given that our appointment was in the middle of the Viral Apocalypse) understanding that I was working from home instead of 'off' for the day of our appointment. We spoke for a bit, he outlined everything well and asked pertinent questions about my reasons for calling, then got down to work inspecting...and recommended no work be done at this time. I offered to pay a service charge but he said that wasn't necessary. We did follow up on the phone briefly (I was busy when he was finished) and I am strongly considering coming back to them for some drainage improvements here and there as precautionary measures.
