She truly loves her job, she is not a money hungry wedding vendor trying to rip her brides off. As a bride, I've met many different vendors from dress stores to florists and if there's one thing they all have in common- trying to get as much as they can from a bride planning her dream wedding. This was not Regina, her prices were extremely reasonable and the quality incomparable. As I said this was amidst the pandemic, so I didn't know if my 10/11/20 would happen. After receiving the quote and design proof from Regina I told her I would like to wait before placing the order since no one knew if this pandemic would effect my wedding. She responded with nothing but kind words and hoped for the best. Fast forward to May 2020, I decided to postpone until March 2021- but then September 2020 decided to replan my wedding in a month to get married on our original 10/11/20 date. Unfortunately, because I decided a month before the wedding to have it again there was not enough time to send paper invites. I had to do the 21st century pandemic thing and send an evite (ew, I know) but I was left with no other choice given the short notice. However, I still needed place-cards for my bridal shower and the wedding. Regina could not have been more accommodating, she got them done quickly and they were PERFECTION. When I went to pick up the place-cards, she could not express how happy she was that amidst this pandemic I was going to have my wedding. With tears in her eyes and genuine happiness, she told me she had a surprise for me. She then handed me the stunning invitation we had spent hours planning. Regina wanted to ensure I had a real copy of my invitation to take pictures of and cherish forever. Her genuine, passionate, kind hearted work should be known to every bride. Thank you Regina, you are a very special person. Don't ever change! There are not many (if any) vendors like you, who truly love their job and do it for the love not the money! I look forward to seeing you again for all the future events I will have!

This review is for face value stamps only- I am not a collector and know nothing of the stamp…read morecollecting world. When I was referred by a friend, I thought, well it's a collector's shop. They're gonna try to upsell and give me a hard time if I'm only there for face value stamps. So it took me about 2 years before I made my way to the shop. Boy was I wrong. As you walk in, you will see shelves and shelves of neatly organized binders. The store is much larger than I imagined, with a large communal table-type space in the middle for you to sit as you sift through binders and bins. Their face value stamps fill up an entire shelf from top to bottom, but compared to the rest of the store is really nothing at all. I was greeted by a very nice lady who had no problems pointing me to the face value shelf (immediately to your right as you walk in). She explained to me how the stamps were organized (by denomination, then binder #). She then told me to feel free to take any binders and sit down in the middle of the room to look through them. I was there for almost 2 hours- in a nice air conditioned, well lit environment, and no one ever bothered me. The staff was all around and I could have easily asked for help at anytime, but no one ever tried to push me to look at anything other than what I was there for. I ended up leaving with about $30 worth of stamps - but most at face values of 2-8 cents each. I did manage to walk out with 2 full sheets of vintage stamps that I may very well end up never using because they are just too beautiful. I was so happy with my experience, I have been raving about this place to any of my friends who still write letters and would enjoy decorating their envelopes with gorgeous face value stamps. I definitely plan on coming back the next time I do someone's wedding invitations.

I was drawn to the flameworking class because of the thoughtful expression of how the instructor, Saint, described the process of working with borosilicate glass in their class. Truthfully, I was so blown away by it all. Urban Glass has a beautiful community based inclusivity spirit and artist centered focus. The studio was well organized and vast. The staff and technical support team are friendly and helpful. Saint's class had a wonderful pacing to it for a 6 hour workshop. We got to know all of the participants and connect together in a fun way, had a few informative demos on equipment safety and glass techniques, and then got to creating! Han, another glass artist at Urban Glass assisted the class, and it was really great to be able to explore making marbles, small figurines on our own and also have Saint and Han jump in when we needed a bit of extra hands on help. I felt confident from the demos and my practice time to be able to rent space on my own after. Our class has stayed in touch since, and I know several of us from the class have been back to the studio since to create. I'm excited to return to explore and learn more!
