Manga! 2nd location of Japanese book /anime super fan collectibles store, now in Industry City. Awesome figurines, collectibles, Manga, Japanese video games, books, Funko Pops, keychains, etc. of your favorite anime. The store is on the small side, but packed tightly with merchandise. One large wall filled with Funko. For those die-hard fans looking for something specific, do keep in mind that this is a small store, but it is in Industry City so there are plenty of other shops and foods to check out. Book-Off only takes up a small portion of the 2nd floor. The rest of the floor is for other businesses that will be opening up in the future. Book-Off is Japan's largest successful new and used books chain, founded in 1991. They have almost 900 stores, worldwide. They will pay you cash for your old books, dvd's or video games. Location: You can enter through Sunrise Mart, then go through the other doors right across. Look to the right, there are elevators and a flight of stairs. Book-Off is on the second floor. Daiso is also on this floor. There is also a bathroom next to the Daiso entrance

My husband and I love to shop at used book stores. There are so many great books at affordable prices at Bookoff.

Note: This review is only for the actual Cinema Classics store at 7th Avenue South…read more So, I was walking around the WV one day, and I passed by this store. It was closed for the night, but I vowed to remember to go back. It looked like my wet dream: classic old movies collected into one small store for my browsing and ecstasy. So, I went back weeks later. The cutest thing about this place is one person works there, and she actually has a sign that says, "Be back in 5 minutes" if she steps out to get coffee or use the restroom or grab lunch or whatnot. That's just cool. I love that carefree attitude when it comes to shops, it's so not stiff and whimsical. Anywho, as to the actual selection, it's solid if not out of this world. The problem with the store I feel is that it'll go out of business because there's too much competition around, and it doesn't help that a lot of old movies aren't on DVD yet, and more hard to find stuff from say, Bogart's catalog (all those actors were under contract and many of them did so many movies that most people haven't seen, they may have sucked but they exist). However, the great thing about the place is that for old movie lovers, to browse by director or actor or genre without all the fluff of crap that usually circulates a place like Kim's or the now not-there Tower, or Virgin, or whatever, it's an easy stop to make. In conjunction they press and present all sorts of film night type stuff in the city. The prices were about on par with any other store, which is expensive to say the least. But if I have a real urge and I'm in there area, I don't mind shelling out a couple extra clams at this place.

*** I will update this review upon receiving contact from them ***…read more I discovered Cinema Classics online and I was thoroughly impressed with their inventory. There are so many movies I want to get, (and keep in mind, I have an impressive physical media collection). I usually do big orders, but thankfully I made a small purchase (about $100). After adding the movies to my cart and paying, I did NOT receive a confirmation email. I tried contacting them through their website section that says ''Contact." There seems to be a broken/glitched function because the email does not go through. I checked my bank card and I was still charged... I had to Google if this was a legitimate site lol. If it's this challenging to get in contact with them, that's concerning. I've ordered from well over 20 movie sites and Cinema Classics has been the only one that has had this issue. No email confirmation/order number or any way to be contacted from their site. Listing their email and phone number would seem to be the wise thing to do. Stay tuned

My wallet walked in with me...and never made it out…read more I went to the Bandai Namco Cross Store in Industry City thinking, "I'll just browse." That was my first mistake. The moment you walk in, it's like your inner child grabs your adult credit card and says, "We ride at dawn." There are Gunpla kits staring at you, shelves of figures judging you, and an entire wall of gashapon machines whispering, "Just one more spin...what's the worst that could happen?" (Answer: you leave with 14 tiny plastic characters and no regrets.) The place is super clean, well organized, and dangerously well-stocked. It's basically a mini Akihabara dropped into Brooklyn, except instead of jet lag, you just get financial regret and a bag full of anime merch you absolutely didn't plan to buy (but 100% needed). Highlights: * The gashapon area is basically a casino, but for anime fans. I blacked out and woke up holding capsules. * Tons of official merch--Gundam, One Piece, PAC-MAN--if Bandai touched it, it's probably here * Chill card game area where you can pretend you came to "hang out" and not spend money Only "downside": * It gets crowded, especially on weekends, which just means more witnesses when you say, "I'm not buying anything else" and immediately buy something else Overall, if you're even slightly into anime, gaming, or collectibles, this place is a must. Just set a budget...then double it...then accept your fate. I'll definitely be back--mostly because I'm pretty sure I left part of my paycheck there
