first off, I would like to acknowledge that the project Donnie worked on at my house was full scale…read morerestoration. The home was not only in need of new windows, but had severe damage from mold, dry rot, and subterranean termites. So the work Donnie did for me was buried and extensive. Another restoration company had previously done the demolition, but Donnie came in and did all of the sheet rock, Insulation, drywall installation, and replacement, texturing, and interior painting. Because the structure was so damaged in the master bathroom, almost the entire back of my home had to have all of the stucco, taking taken off and most of the interior drywall. So, at that time we removed an old cast-iron tub and Donnie put in a gorgeous tile shower. Added to all that he did before, he is a perfectionist, installing tile and plumbing fixtures. I will say he let you know when he will be there and he is there when he says. He advises if he's unable to come for part of the day. His communication is stellar. One of a kind in my whole experience of this restoration project. He's very pleasant to be around, comfortable to converse with. And I didn't mind him being in my home, even if I needed to leave for periods of time. I give Donnie the highest of recommendation.

This photo is of the finished repair. This was a small repair but because it was custom décor in our shower we needed someone to do the repair who could replicate the pattern before the stones had come loose. Terry from A Jackson Masonry did a perfect job. He was so meticulous and conscientious in making sure the repair was done in the very best manner possible. He did the work in about 5 hours over 2 days. After completing the work on day 1 he came back on day 2 to touch up the joint work and make the job look perfect. On day 2 he was even going to remove the original joint material he used and replace it with a different material because he was concerned that it wasn't as good a material as he thought it should be. We ended up deciding on the original material rather than have him redo that part of the job. That is the level of integrity that Terry has in making sure his work is the best it can possibly be. We recommend A Jackson Masonry and thank Aaron for sending Terry to do this job for us.

Derick Kartchner DK Construction helped me remodel my basement. The Sub contractors that he hired included a company that leveled the concrete floor and installed the kitchen counter top. He also billed me thousands of dollars for electrical and plumbing contractors that only gave him verbal bids to do work but did no work on the project. I learned after the project was completed that he did not pay the sub contractors that did the work. The sub contractors have come to me for payment and most likely have filed liens against my property. Derick is obviously not an honest person and I suggest you not hire him.
