The Sub contractors that he hired included a company that leveled the concrete floor and installed the kitchen counter top. He also billed me thousands of dollars for electrical and plumbing contractors that only gave him verbal bids to do work but did no work on the project. I learned after the project was completed that he did not pay the sub contractors that did the work. The sub contractors have come to me for payment and most likely have filed liens against my property. Derick is obviously not an honest person and I suggest you not hire him. Handy Manny charged $4900 in labor. They didn't dig the holes deep enough for the posts and used very little concrete for the posts. As a result, 4 months later, the fence has fallen down. The owner was called to come back and fix the fence. He stated he would be there on Friday to fix it. That was 3 weeks ago and now he won't return phone calls. They did not install the fence properly. I am posting this so no one else gets ripped off. The elderly couple on a fixed income now has to pay more money to have the fence re-installed correctly.
