The owner and his wife were lovely and helpful and recommended attempting to buff out the scratch as first approach vs extensive body work. It worked perfectly!! Nando and his team were amazing when handling my car due to a insurance claim for a blowout with body damage. Speaking with Nando was refreshing and comforting as within a few min I knew I was in good hands. Nando is the owner but will jump in to do the hands on work when he needs to. He was the person that towed my car and put me at ease that my car would be restored to what it was. He contacted me with updated info every 5 days and answered all my questions in between. Once seeing my car after repair I was in disbelief. It looked amazing with an amazing detailed and restoring of my headlights to go along with it. Once looking at my front tires I decided to replace those too and they still had my car back to me within a day or so. I can't say enough about Empire's work and Nando's customer service. Update-Had a piece of drywall hit my front bumper so immediately thought of Empire from my past experiences. Not sure if they got too busy, or what happened, but far from the experience I had before. Their estimator works from home and will take a week plus to get you any information. Once I finally received a quote, I asked a question two days ago and NEVER received an answer. So much for the friendly, family feel. Not sure if they still do good work, as I will not use them again due to the total lack of service in just getting an estimate or a question answered. My husband purchased a new Toyota Tacoma when he first arrived in Tampa last May. Within two weeks, some bozo decided to key his passenger side door. We finally bit the bullet to get it fixed and met with a local body shop in Ybor City where we live for an estimate. Wow! We are so impressed with this business. This is the best body shop I have ever experienced in terms of customer service, quality work and clean facilities. It is obvious that this company takes a lot of pride in providing exceptional body work that makes your vehicle like new, but more importantly, it was how the owner, Nando Garcia, took time to explain the process, the estimate, demonstrate what would happen, and introduce you to his staff that was equally impressive. Well, as Yelpers stated, this business is awesome. Very caring and waited for me even though he was closing at 5pm. Once you are inside, the place is clean and a bit modern color which is cool. Got my estimate and Nando guaranteed his work as he explained what needs to be done in my car. Also, they give you military discount so that is a big plus, the other place I went before seeing Empire doesn't give any discount at all. So, any business that honors military, I am all for it to support in anyway I can. Will for sure go back to have them fixed and repair my car bumper scrapes. It's not a good feeling to see your car hit in a church parking lot, but once I got to talking to Nando, I felt good and was able to forget my frustration about my car. Nando has this personality of making you feel good even though you are walking in to his business knowing you will be spending money. Best body shop in Tampa! I got an estimate in about 15 minutes then came back and my car was fixed in a day. Nando helped me find an affordable rental and stayed in touch throughout the process so I knew exactly what was going on with my car and when I could pick it up. The shop is squeaky clean they work on normal cars like mine and do really cool custom work on high end vehicles. Nando is honest and is dedicated to providing great customer service and great work. First time doing business with Empire Collision and will be the last time. Choose them to do the work because of high reviews and good word of mouth. But after pricing was not communicated clearly, poor workmanship, (had to return the vehicle on two separate occasions) one to finish work that was not performed and wouldn't of been if I didn't pay close attention and then to correct bad bodywork. Tried working out a resolution with the owner but just heard excuses... Recommend you save your hard earned time/money and find another collision center. read more

I went to Empire Collision with a few damages on my Hyandai Accent because of an accident. My front bumper was damaged, my windshield was shattered, my hood was damaged as well as a couple of other parts on the inside of my car. I didn't make an appointment, however Nando took my car that day, ordered the parts and had my car fixed within a couple of days. He called me with updates on my car throughout the week, and also to let me know that there was a damage on my headlight. He decided that he would not charge me for the damage on the headlight. Nando and the employees at Empire Collision had great costumer service and were very polite throughout the whole process. He is wise beyond his years and his dedication to customer service and quality of work outclasses all of my previous auto service experiences. (Including BMW dealer's service). I dropped off my BMW M6 which had a relatively minor rear-end bumper accident damage.
