If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would be happy to do so! I found it on Google Maps and decided to go visit. My friend followed me and we got lost! Turned out this restaurant is in an apartment complex. I call and a very friendly guy tried his best to guide me with the language barrier. Once there you have to scan a QR code to secure your parking spot. The restaurant is a very cute apartment with tvs playing Venezuelan music and showing the beauty of Venezuela!
I speak some Spanish but big kudos to the guy who took his time to pull out pictures to show us the plates... his smile fill out a room! We got few empanadas an arepa and a plate he kept on telling me the name... for the life of me I cannot remember the name!
They filled complimentary juices for us to try... then came out with snacks for us to try...
I watched them cook the food in the kitchen. The word joy isn't enough to express about this experience! The food came and each is more delicious than the other! You can tell it is made with pride and love! Then the other guy came with a bowl of complimentary frijoles.. for a moment I felt that I traveled to Venezuela and I made friends who invited me to their home!
We finished the meal... exchanged conversations... practiced my Spanish... here comes the bill which is so so cheap! And more gifts! They gave us corn meal and powdered milk. And he was about to go get some more!
This is the pure example of well raised kids! That turned into hard working genuine man! I love traveling and Venezuela is now very high on my list of countries to visit! I can truly write a newspaper about this experience and it will not be enough! I wish them the very best! And I will return for sure! read more
