Let's face it, most wedding food tends to be mediocre at best. That wasn't the case at our wedding! We decided on the Heavenly Baby Spinach Salad, the Heavenly Stuffed Chicken, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans. We also included the Mac and cheese bar as a late night snack. All of the food was served fresh and hot. It was absolutely delicious!! We chose the buffet style versus the table services since we were on a budget. We were glad that they offered this option since it was very affordable. We made sure to order plenty of extra plates to cover the 250 guests and the vendors. We ended up with food left over so they kindly packed it up for us to enjoy later. I really appreciate the fact that they were also able to accommodate our request for bean and cheese nachos for the kiddos. We received positive feedback from the parents of the picky eaters. It's been six years since our wedding and we still salivate at the idea of enjoying our complimentary anniversary meal from there. Yeah, that anniversary meal is definitely an added bonus of being part of the Heavenly Gourmet family! We have zero regrets about selecting Heavenly Gourmet for our special day!

Right from the beginning of our reception planning with PBC, Britany asked all the pertinent questions and did all of the food coordination to perfection. From our initial food tastings, right down to working directly with our venue (The Rio Plaza), to maintain our desired timeline, we knew we were in good hands. Our final planning meeting to establish the day and evening's events, was exactly how it was executed. Superb! The food at the reception was accurate to the food at our tastings, and we expected it to be that way... excellent! We had more positive compliments about our food than anything. No one walked away from our wedding hungry, and everyone was more than satisfied. They supplied kids meals for the children, and sub sandwich snack packs for our vendors. Britany was thinking of everyone that was participating in our day, and making sure they were covered. The care PBC took with sanitation and COVID protection is to be commended. We asked for the salad to be served "sit down style" and then the buffet to be served to our guests, rather than a self service buffet. All of this was accomplished with servers masked and COVID protocols followed, it was just to our asking. It was a relief. I have worked with many catering companies over the years, and hands down, would gladly use again, and recommend Page Barteau Catering and staff for any event. Britany is straightforward to work with, and planning is her thing, I expected it all to go off without a hitch and it did. Bravo, PBC!! Bravo!

AND.... They didn't provide knives to cut the prime rib on your plate. So literally people were eating with the fingers, chewing the meat off their fork, etc.

This was important because if their customer service was lacking months ahead of the wedding, how would it be on the crucial day? Fortunately, we had friends who were getting married a month before us and they recommended their caterer Got It Covered. After meeting with Marisol a few times and doing a tasting, we decided to hire them. Their commitment to customer service and excellent food and decor options made them our choice for our wedding day. We were impressed by the level of service that we got. Sister owners Marisol and Martha have put together a great business here. Martha runs front of the house and does all things business, while Marisol takes care of back of the house and does food and decorations. We worked with Got It Covered months ahead of the wedding and they not only gave us great advice on things we didn't think of, but they also worked with us on price. I don't know how Marisol is so available and attentive, given that she works with her catering crew on the weekend. But, that is exactly what we needed for our wedding. Got It Covered worked closely with us to chose decor, including table covers and chair bows, and food options according to our budget and venue restrictions. Got It Covered did so many things right: having delicious food options for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions including vegetarians and gluten-free; offering dinner plates for the venue staff, security, and the jazz band that we hired for the wedding; and attention to detail. On the day of the wedding, our guests started arriving at the reception venue half an hour early. We were afraid that they would get in the way of the catering staff as they set tables and prepared for the service. However, the catering staff were nothing but smiles and somehow patiently worked around our guests. That's the kind of service that makes one appreciative, especially at an event as momentous as a wedding. Our guests loved the food, the service was unfettered and impeccable, and I can't more highly recommend Got It Covered for all catering and special event needs.
