The outside of the establishment could be a bit nicer, but it was a gem to come here. On the side, it looks like a bar but is family oriented (depending on the time). It opens Tuesday thru Sunday from 3pm to 2am, and it's closed on Monday. My family ordered everything from the menu. Arepa, sancocho, Bandeja paisa, carne asada, chicharron. All the dishes were served in big portions, and the favlor my uncle had the best time ordering beer from Colombia, and the sancocho (stew) was delicious. He said it was the best dish he had in years here in the DMV area if not the only one worth coming back (qlwe drove 50 minutes to come here). First off the arepas looked like small personal pizzas. I was highly disappointed in that. They were tasty but not what I wanted. My fiancé said the beef was a little salty to him as well. It was large enough for two people. I really enjoyed this; flavorful and filling. The steak was tender. You can sit in or take your food to go.
