This is to report a serious health and sanitation concern…read more On Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 12:26 PM, I was inside the establishment when I observed a roach crawling on the wall. An employee, who appeared to be the manager on duty (as she was older and seemed to be overseeing the shift), attempted to kill the roach. When she grabbed it with a napkin, the roach fell onto the table. The employee then killed the roach and disinfected the table. However, this same employee had taken my order and continued handling service immediately after the incident. The food was served, but none of it was consumed due to the health concern. There was one other younger employee present, but they were not involved in the incident. Camera footage should confirm this event, as it would show the employee killing something on the wall during this time. Due to the seriousness of the situation, I also contacted the Health Department to report this incident.

I decided to give this one a try. I finally broke down and stopped in for lunch on Saturday March 8. The place wasn't crowded. It's a bit spacious but not many tables. My first thought was that it would be hard to get a table at dinner time. I was seated immediately and my order came right away. The server was very seeet and friendly and always checked on me. I ordered a paellita noches with black beans as well as tostones (fried green plantains) I received the paellita that came with maduros (fried sweet plantains). I ordered black beans but Instead I got red beans. I let it go. The paellita was good and a huge portion. I had to take half home. I didn't care for the red beans. They were a bit tasteless. The tostones were bland and a bit too greasy. I added salt and dipped them in the beans. (I'm PR and we add salt as soon as the fried plantains come out the fryer so that it sticks or serve it with mojo). Tostones do not taste good bland. I may go again and try some different items, skip the tostones and make sure that I get my black beans. I'll update this review depending on my experience when I return.

There was very loud bachata music and out walked this person that I can't call her a waitress, I have respect for waitresses they work very hard, she comes to our table we say hi and all she said was "what do you want to order". We put in the order and she turns up the music and starts singing in the kitchen. We ordered the bandeja paisa when it came out the pork was tasteless and very chewy, the Colombian chorizo tasted and had the consistency of cardboard, the rice was good and so was the steak. And then she turned the music louder yet I had to call her almost yelling to ask for the check it was almost like a comedy show. My other half and me looked at each other laughed and just said. NEVER AGAIN!!! What a disaster. If you want to have a half decent dinner don't even think about this place. Service 0. Noise 90 decibels. Food 1.

The Bandeja paisa is amazing for a filling dish if you go there hungry. Very Colombian theme but that's the point. Their servers speak English as a second language so just have patience but they are nice and try very hard. Thank you

I will weep if they ever close down. Their food is divine. Even their rice is somehow incredible. Their meat bursts with flavor and is tender. I don't order off of their menu; they just have a bunch of hot food buffet style and I just request what I want. I always get their rice with black beans on top. Menu items vary by day but these are common items and some of my favorites: chicken leg, beef ribs, yuka fries, and pork ribs. When I introduced this place to my boyfriend, he fell in love too. When I asked what he would do if it ever shut down, he said he would kidnap the ladies working there (joking, of course). But he did say seriously if he knew ahead of time he would be willing to pay for their recipes. The friendliness of service depends on who's serving you, but no one is rude. They're just straight to the point. The inside is always clean - I just never eat in there since I just pile a bunch of food in a takeout container and bring it home for several meals. My boyfriend can finish it in one go if he's starving though. I always get a takeout box to go, and tbh the only downside is I don't know how much it is until they check out. They don't weigh it either, but I'm sure they have some type of formula? A box is usually around $22 BUT that's with A LOT of food stashed in there that I ask for. It's worth it. Another thing is that their soups, while delicious, are overly salted like crazy! So I usually skip that. Or if you really want to try it, you can dilute it with water and reheat it. A hidden gem overall - Must try! Who would've knew a quiet strip mall can hold some of the best food I've ever had.
