My concerns were brushed off. Dr Yanelli barely looks at you or moves, just stares at the computer screen. The medical report/notes he writes are full of lies - he said we discussed changing drugs, but we didn't; he claimed symptoms were mild though I insisted they are severe. He ordered all kinds of tests and labs he did not talk about at all and that I can't understand why I would need. It's as if he wasn't even there, and just dreamed up the whole appointment.
There were other 'confusions' and mistakes too. Orders and referrals were never sent, prescriptions were cancelled that weren't supposed to be; the office staff even told another hospital's staff that I needed to have a certain procedure done at UH only and there WAS no order for it to be done elsewhere (not true and they don't have the right to dictate where you go).
They tell you you're on the waitlist for a sooner appointment but never ever call, though openings occur and you can book them in MyChart.
Over the cacophonous lobby TVs, you can just hear the desk staff rudely sending away elderly would-be patients who came in trying to get an appointment, telling them, without even checking, that all the doctors are booking out five months.
