I met Emily with Emily's dog training (who is affiliating with 7F Dog Trainer and in her contract discloses that she is using 7F Dog Trainer Training system) for free consultation and demonstration. She brought a beautiful well-trained dog which was very impressive. She said after the 13 sessions she verbally guaranteed my dog to be the same. Later on I found out from her own trainer that the dog has had years and years of training.
On the demonstration day we told Emily, my dog barks at smaller dogs and sometimes larger dogs. She barks when she hears a dog or noise on TV. When someone comes to our home she gets excited and jumps all over that person. She pulls when we are walking her. My dog still has all those issues. The trainer had my dog on a leash and every time that she did not behave the trainer popped the leash. This is not training. It is like every time a kid is crying you put your hand on her mouth and keep it quiet.
One of her tools for training was an e-collar which I opposed. She put an e-collar in my hand and then tried my husband. We did not feel anything. She said that is as strong as it could get. The second time my dog came home she laid down on the floor and had some reaction like seizures. Luckily my brother-in-law was in our home and knew what to do. The next session I asked her trainer to put the e-collar on my wrest. He said I would not like it. I told him what Emily did. She lied to us! The trainer did not make a comment. Then I asked him not to use the e-collar again. We return the e-collar and she reimbursed us for it.
She told me she would assign his best trainer
She said she had a lady trainer but she was not quit satisfied with her job and assigned Sam his best trainer. Sam is a very nice person and we liked him, we have no complaints about Sam, polite & punctual.
Until we had that leash on her and pop, pop, pop she was better but if I use her harness she pulls and barks at everything again.
I attended one of their group tranings. There was a beautiful dog who cried a several times because his owner was using the e-collar stronger than she should. That broke my heart.
She signed us up for 13 private sessions for $2611. On the 9 or 10 session I called Emily that I have not seen improvement with my dog. Emily said she could be one of those dogs that needs training for the rest of her life. Great, why not signing an agreement and for every few weeks I write you a check for $2611!!!
I called 7F Dog Trainer to speak to someone about it. The person on the phone said she had to get Emily's approval first as my contract was with Emily. On yes please let them file a complaint against me. I never had heard a company who had independent contract instead of listing to the consumer say they need to get that independent contractor's approval.
Anyway this woman Emily lies and lies to get the contract signed. They make video and send to you. Yes of course with that narrow leash around the dog's neck and pop, pop, pop any dog would behave.
I have seen a few more similar complaints on BBB, Yelp, etc... I know they don't provide people's info to someone else. But if someone wants to talk to me my phone number is 702-339-4076 read more
