Dr. Hicks treated my father and we went through a couple of prescription changes until he found what worked best for my father. Dr. Hicks did not stop until my father's blood work came back "normal", which was by January 2017. I feel that Dr. Hicks took the time and listened to us, especially since I was my father's translator. Dr. Hicks is very old school, he doesn't have a nurse who assess you and does the initial interview, rather he does it all himself. It's an office of a very small staff, they're a little outdated, but I'm there to see the doctor, not the office. 10 stars for Dr. Hicks!!

The 'my chart' app that they have gives me an easy and efficient way to communicate with the Dr's for any general questions I may have. The practice is run efficiently, which does contribute to a "get 'em in, move 'em along" feeling, but this efficiency also benefits you when it is your turn in the exam room or being worked up for your physical. Physicals are in two parts: One date for blood draw, EKG, BP, weight and x-ray, another date for doctor's hands-on exam, consultation and question and answer.

It's not easy to find a good doctor…read morethese days, so I am thrilled to have found Dr. Fredd Miller through a fellow doctor's recommendation. Dr. Miller is an anomaly in this day and age. He was personable, easygoing, and knowledgeable. But what really stands out is that he actually takes the time to talk to you as though you are his only patient. I never felt rushed in any way. I was initially perplexed at the set up for an annual exam since it entails two visits that are billed as one copay. However, it wound up being a great idea. On the first visit they take all of your labs so Dr. Miller is able to go over all of the results when he examines you on the second visit. This was much better than simply having a doctor call you to briefly go over your lab results, which is how many of my previous doctors have operated in the past. The staff was very nice and easy to work with. The online portal works well for viewing lab results and contacting Dr. Miller. He checks these emails multiple times a day and is easy to reach. The office is clean, modern, and conveniently located off Glenridge near the corner of Hammond Drive. There is plenty of parking available and the office is easy to find. All in all, if you're looking for a good PCP, Dr. Fredd Miller is definitely the right prescription!

I moved here from St. Louis and that city has world class health care and I was worried about a lower quality down here. It has not been and this DR and the entire group is spectacular. She's takes her time asking me questions, listens well and is genuinely caring. She offers both virtual and in-office visits. (Although, you may need to call to schedule vs. doing through MyChart), but she is so worth the call. I had, originally, been seeing Dr. Schramm and was very happy with him, but chose to see Dr. Cox due to availability. I am so happy that it worked out that way or I may have missed an opportunity to be her patient. I am grateful for her attentiveness, attitude and medical knowledge. Because I needed my prescriptions refilled ( mind you blood work is part of my physical) the charged for an office visit which was a $75.00 co pay. I will never go back. Only bad experience was a man who was new at Decatur I believe he might have been a nurse and he was checking me in at front desk. Was by far the ugliest encounter I have ever had at a doctor's office. Immediately he was handled and I never saw him again at either location. Pretty sure he was let go. I have extremely rare condition which causes rare subset conditions that most doctors pass off on me as "difficult". The Doctors here and their P.A.'s have always gone the mile for me and it has made a difference in my overall quality of life and care. One of my adult children is also now seen here for my same rare condition. If you have been treated badly for ongoing issues and conditions that won't happen at PCC in Sandy Springs
