He is super nice, always smiling, and very respectful. He truly cares about his patients, takes the time to check everything carefully, and explains things in a way that's easy to understand. He works completely with the patient and makes you feel comfortable and supported. I highly recommend him. The Team in the clinic are also super nice, care and I love their smiles, All of them super nice. Thank you Guys :-) Gili Lederman Avneri

I normally call to make my appointment, but this time, I did it online and it took me to zocdoc. The weird part was the website doesn't know im already a patient. I called to ask if I needed to complete the form the website asked for, they said no, I can ignore it. Dr. Lebada is the doctor that took over Dr. Chau's patients. He is a genuine doctor. He listens to you and tries his best to provide you with as much assistance as you need. I addressed my issues and he is thorough with any pain or discomfort you may have. He will refer you to the people, place, or treatment that you are in need of. The technicians are all sweet and polite, always with a smile. As I was waiting to be seen by the doctor, water was brought to me because they offered and I accepted. I love coming here. I always feel welcomed.

One podiatrist said he could do the surgery, and I could walk out that same day. Another backed off, saying it was major surgery, which though he could do, had some risks, and that I should just continue with insoles. The last one said, yes, it was a risky surgery, but he could do it -- all from six feet across the room, and looking at my foot and x-rays. Dr. Kase gave me the most thorough examination I have ever had, manipulating both feet (after x-rays) and citing his observations to an assistant, who input all the data into my file. He asked me about my level of pain, and checked both feet for neuropathy, and then observed me walk to and from him. Then we looked at the x-rays and he showed me where the major issues were, and how they would complicate recovering from the surgery in question. His final opinion was the procedure was not worth the risk, considering I was not in much pain. As we talked, he made sure I understood everything, and answered all my questions thoroughly. Together we came up with a plan. I cannot tell you how much better I felt, knowing exactly what was going on in my body, and all options. I was delighted, when I checked into my "patient portal" to see all the information he provided, there in print, for me to refer to anytime I feel the need. I highly recommend Dr. Kase to anyone, with foot issues, and considering surgery, which he is clearly capable of doing, but will only do if absolutely needed. That's the kind of podiatrist we need more of.

My journey with Dr. Randall began about five years ago, though I'll spare you all the details. I've always been an active person--playing sports growing up and continuing with workout classes, hiking, and other physical activities as an adult. However, in my thirties, I began experiencing severe pain in my left ankle, which greatly impacted my ability to enjoy the activities I love. On a basic level, Dr. Randall is incredibly smart, kind, patient, and attentive. She never rushes through appointments and genuinely takes the time to listen. But what truly sets her apart is her unparalleled expertise in foot and ankle health, her commitment to staying on top of the latest medical advancements, and, perhaps most importantly, her genuine passion for her work. From the beginning, Dr. Randall was upfront about my condition and explained that a subtalar joint fusion would likely be the best solution. I was hesitant to move forward with this procedure and opted to try steroid injections first. While these provided temporary relief for a few weeks at a time, the pain inevitably returned. I've never discussed this with Dr. Randall but I even went on my own "LA tour" to meet with all the other "top ranking" foot and ankle surgeons to get their opinion - including UCLA, USC, and Dr's in Beverly Hills. Some dismissed the idea of a fusion altogether without offering any viable alternatives beyond enduring the pain. Most, however, echoed Dr. Randall's recommendation. But unlike Dr. Randall, they made me feel like just another number in their busy schedules. In April 2024, I made the decision to move forward with Dr. Randall's recommendation and undergo the fusion procedure. By that point, the pain had become unbearable--I was limping constantly and relying on 8-10 Advil every morning just to get through the day. While I was nervous, the relentless pain left me with little choice but to take the leap. Looking back, it was the best decision I've ever made. Technically, my range of motion is slightly reduced, but the trade-off has been life-changing. I'm completely pain-free and back to doing the activities I love. I not only feel better physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Thanks, doc!

She was never dismissive of my concerns and willingly took her time when I needed to receive numbing injections so as to minimize the pain from the injections themselves. I was an emotional wreck but she took it all in stride, pun intended :) She was recommended to me by a close friend who would tell you that she can be a tough customer. Told the receptionist that I had an infected ingrown toenail and she quickly understood my pain and told me to be there by 3pm. Was quickly brought in and Dr. Nubar Ornekian, DPM immediately knew what to do for my specific and very severe case. He cut one-third of the affected toenail, excised the granular tissue, and debrided the wound. 10 minutes for a local anesthetic, 10 min for the procedure, 10 min to coagulate and bandage. Post-op instructions were easy enough, received a prescription for a round of antibiotics, and told to manage pain with NSAIDS. His bedside manner is great and very much has a wealth of expertise in his +30 years in the specialty. I would not hesitate to refer him to anybody else if you're lucky to snag an appointment. For context, I had been calling around for 1 hour and was lucky to have found him. When I called Urgent Care they said they do not have a specialist who would be able to help me in my situation, especially since I had already started antibiotics. When I called Huntington Hospital they said depending on the assessment of my toe I might be referred out for a outpatient surgery with a podiatrist. So happy to have found this clinic on Google Maps as most Pasadena clinics were booked out for at least 6 weeks, out on maternity/ paternity leave, etc. He is speedy, efficient, genuine, sincere, competent, and left me feeling confident in my post-op recovery. Very thankful for him and the pain relief he has provided me.
