Tonight was a rough night for Dominos. I ordered by phone and glad I did. The online tracking was…read moreoff, which honestly, makes total sense. It's a Friday night, pizza is in high demand. An online tracker can't possibly account for how many people are staffed and the traffic situation that delivery drivers run into. Even if it could, how many people really get their Fedex or UPS shipments on time, to the minute? Amazon's logistics services are the closest as far as a tracker would go, and I'd say they still suck because packages will be thrown at doors to keep their tight schedule. So, for a busy Friday, or any typically busy day for pizza, I'll always call. The people working will have a much more realistic idea of when they can have your pizza ready. We went to pick up our pizza to save a few minutes of wait time. Frankly, I'm glad we did. It gave me a different appreciation for the people working there. The manager or ranking staff member was putting out fires the whole time. Not to mention the fact that he would tell those who called in, that the tracker didn't seem to be keeping up with their realistic schedule. They were looking at roughly an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the order. When I called, the gentleman I spoke with gave us a fairly timely estimate. Our pizza was ready within 5-10 minutes of the quoted time. Pretty on point. I feel terrible for the amount of trouble this team received from rude and unappreciative customers. They aren't the only people who are hungry and if they are so worried about their timeline, get fast food or oven baked pizzas next time. Show some appreciation to those who are working hard to satisfy our growing community. We have vastly outgrown our pizza shops.

The place leans heavily into a dive‑bar feel, and it's very clear this is a locals' hangout. Despite the "Grill" in the name, it definitely reads more bar than restaurant. That said, the manager (owner?) was extremely friendly and welcoming, which set a nice tone for the visit. We split a pepperoni pizza, and it was genuinely very good. I can comfortably recommend. Just be aware of the setup: you order and pay for food at a counter, and if you want an alcoholic drink, you have to go to the bar and pay separately. Not a dealbreaker, but a little clunky. The beer selection was decent, though nothing that really stood out. There's indoor seating, outdoor seating, and bar seating, so you've got options depending on the mood. Overall, Crossroads has its charms, especially if you're into a strong neighborhood‑bar atmosphere, but it's not quite a destination spot for dinner night out.

There is no clearly defined place to order, so I was unsure whether to sit down or order from the counter. Plus, there was no one in sight. I could hear folks in the back. Finally someone came to take my order. He was nice but unenthusiastic... as if he could not wait to leave. (It was noon) There were no other customers in the restaurant. I got a slice and it was wimpy crust. I asked for it to be heated again, but that just burned the cheese and didn't crisp it. Oh well. You know what they say about pizza... it applies here.

I would describe this pizza as more of a little Caesar's or Pizza Hut type pizza. It needed more cheese and sauce, and the crust needed to be crispier. The pizzas were hot, fresh, and delicious. There was a deal on the app for $9.99 each which brought my total to $21.72 (after tax and not including tip). This turned out to be an outstanding value based on the quality of the pizza and easy ordering process. I will definitely return again soon.
