I made appointments during my pregnancy to meet the other two Doctors Dr.Mark and Dr.Greg before my due date. During labor and the process I had to see all 3 doctors. I was nervous to have Dr.Mark from hearing obnoxious comments while in the hospital. Dr. Mark delivered our baby boy! His professionalism and straightforward approach, coupled with his tough love during labor, made a significant difference in my birthing experience. His persistence and knowledge empowered me to achieve a natural delivery, even when I felt like giving up. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his brothers for their trustworthiness and commitment to guiding patients through tough decisions. After labor, my husband had to call for guidance and he was kind, helpful and supportive! Bottom line- After doing research and consulting different doctors my husband and I are so happy we made the right choice to go with Dr. De Fazio Practice. Jenna and the nurse in the office on 82st are professional and courteous. Making you feel comfortable and welcome. We are nothing but grateful for their commitment and work.

Dr. Mark delivered my two children and it was a wonderful experience. I can't recommend them enough!

Make appointments during the day to avoid waiting. Dr. Frenkel has an amiable and caring bedside manner, which put me at ease during my first appointment with him. During my very first gyno visit years back, he was very gentle and communicative, explaining the procedures and checking in with me. Very pleasant and professional. My mother has been his patient for years, and he always jokes with her and remembers her story. He has strong relationships with many of his patients, and he likes to joke around and bring humor to lighten the conversation, which is always appreciated. Very sad that the office no longer accepts Medicaid, so I have to look for another gyno.

He kept sending bills to my insurance I had to pay without even having a receipt of what I was paying for. I had to ask to get my results otherwise they were not going to give them to me. They sat me down while he was putting peoples tissue test behind me and next to all the V... tissues next to me... THIS IS A SCAM AND WILL TAKE MONEY FROM YOU AND YOUR INSURANCE!!!

Second, the machine to pay via credit card was not working, which caused further delays. But there was no prior notification when the booking was made that the practice only accepted cash for co-pays. The staff was unprofessional and unapologetic. People have no respect for time. Third, they randomly schedule appointments for follow-ups without consulting the patientand charges fees for no-shows, even if the patient has not requested a follow-up. This is the perfect example of poor professional conduct. I will never go back to this provider and recommend others to find a more suitable OB-GYN.

This a review that has been very delayed, but when I saw the "for sale" sign outside the practice,…read moreI decided to give it a final hoorah. Dr.Bakcheva was my very first OB/GYN I had; and as a young teenage girl who had many questions about painful periods and a calcified mass on my ovary...I did not seek answers from this so called "doctor." Let me start this off with the wait times of this clinic. The longest I sat in the waiting room was 2 hours to only have my urine sampled and quick Pap. On the topic of urine samples, this doctor has explicitly told me she needed to use a "urinary catheter to get a clean sample." I refused, and she did not want any other sample. I'm still scared/anxious till this day of urinary catheters. Secondly, she is not the least bit compassionate. I came to her with a finding that I had in a pelvic x-ray in the ER. It was a growth on my ovary; and when I asked her if it was cancerous and if my fertility would be impacted (mind you...ovarian cancer is most prevalent at the age of 45) she had the audacity to say "even young kids get cancer, and you are too young to think about kids." She also refused to put me on birth control; as "I had no need to be on it." My new OB-GYN (that I have been goin to for 4 years now) prescribed me it and it not only made my periods lighter, but also minimized the pains of the ovarian mass. There were so many other instances that happened here, but I am not getting paid to write a novel about her. If she's practicing anywhere else...AVOID AT ALL COST.

Every time I'm in the office I have to wait 3 hours! And nobody has so much free time in New York…read more I think I need a new gynecologist.
