We had a slab leak that turned into a complete repipe of our home in Granada Hills, CA, and after…read morespeaking with several plumbers, I'm extremely glad we chose Henrik Plumbing.
From the very first phone call, they were different. They were able to give us estimates for both PEX and copper and were very transparent about what they recommended and why. While other plumbers suggested abandoning only the underground section and reconnecting to the existing pipes inside the walls, Henrik explained why, in our situation, a complete repipe would be the correct and long-term solution.
Richard, the manager, was incredible throughout the entire process. Any time I called or texted with a question, he was there. It honestly felt like having someone personally helping you through the entire project. We have a 2-year-old and a newborn at home, so having our house opened up for a major repipe was stressful. The entire team was extremely professional, understanding, and careful around our family.
The day after our initial discussion, their supervisor, Hrayr, came to the house and personally did a complete walkthrough and took detailed notes. When the crew started, they carefully covered our floors, furniture, and work areas before cutting drywall and drilling the necessary holes for the new piping. They always let us know where they were working and where it was safe to walk, which we especially appreciated with a toddler in the house.
Edo, the team leader, was excellent--very organized, knowledgeable, and clearly knows his work from A to Z. The plumbing crew completed our entire house repipe with Type L copper in only four days, including three bathrooms and the kitchen. When Richard said four days, he meant four days.
Another thing that impressed me was that their quote wasn't just for the plumbing. It included the complete repipe, inspection coordination, and wall patching. Their patching crew came afterward and, in one day, patched, sanded, and textured the opened walls throughout the house and repaired the exterior stucco. Everything was left ready for paint.
Before choosing Henrik, I received quotes ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000. Some plumbers didn't even call me back, while others couldn't give me a clear timeline for completing the work. None offered the same combination of communication, turnaround time, workmanship, and complete project coordination that Henrik Plumbing offered.
I work in food safety auditing, so by nature I pay very close attention to procedures, organization, workmanship, and details. I was probably "auditing" their work throughout the project without even realizing it. I paid attention to everything from the materials and valves they used to how the repipe was organized, the patching, and the inspection scheduling. They did an excellent job.
What stood out most was their professionalism and support. They used quality materials, kept their promises, stayed on schedule, communicated throughout the process, and made a very stressful situation much easier for our family.
A whole-house repipe is not something anyone wants to go through, especially with two very young children at home, but Richard, Hrayr, Edo, and the entire Henrik Plumbing team made the experience as smooth as possible.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a repipe.
