I was given shorts to wear along with slippers sock and gloves. They provide headphones if you would like to listen to music during the service. Sara set the expectation and gave me a tour of the immaculate facilities, then I sat for my very first localized cryotherapy session!!! While my shoulder injury was receptive to the treatment, what blew me away is the impact it had on my back. I've had chronic pain in my lower back (tailbone) for years, and it's usually around a 7. I could IMMEDIATELY tell the difference where the pain decreased to maybe a 2 or even a 1 after the session!!! I couldn't feel anything right after treatment and as the day progressed I feared the pain would return (like it always does with the back shots and other treatments) but it didn't! I will be back again and I want to incorporate this with some other alternative treatments to see what life could look like without chronic pain!!!
