What we've had so far is nothing short of the best corporate catering I've ever had in 20 years of working in tech. Two themes that stand out in everything they've made: * Creativity - everything they've done has been fantastically inventive. Even if it's just adding a novel set of spices onto a homemade pita chip, or a unique sauce that takes a boring chicken dish and makes it tasty. They've done really inventive gluten-free dessert mousses based on tofu and avocado, and so much more. * Pride in craftsmanship - I can't believe it's easy to feed ~900 people using an offsite kitchen, but they've managed to prepare the food in ways that leave it still tasting really good by the time it reaches our months -- and not just by throwing lots of salt and grease on the food. She was able to replicate one of the cakes I liked on Pinterest with a few tweaks here and there for a customized touch. Our mom and dad to be absolutely loved the design and everyone loved the cake. It wasn't a dry brick like some of these custom cakes tend to be. Everything from obtaining a quote, to designing, to ordering, to delivery (yes she also delivers) was so easy. I couldn't be happier and will probably be ordering from her again for future custom cake needs. My only wish is that there were some more filling options but she has all the classic flavors that pretty much everyone knows and loves.

We get the same breakfast from another catering company every other week, so thought we'd try a new place. My first experience was with the order - this is actually my 2nd time ordering, the last time was for some breakfast burritos. Both times I had problems ordering on the website and had to call. When I initially did my research, they came in similar priced if not a bit lower than the other company we regularly use. After placing my order, I noticed they charge a 20% "production fee" in addition to tax, gratuity, and then an additional 3.5% to pay by card, so it ended up being $100 more. Also, I figured for ordering a hot breakfast for 30 people they would put it in disposable chaffers to keep hot, but they didn't. A nitpicky complaint is the chopstick serving tools for the fruit didn't work well at all either. Overall, we weren't very happy.

Nola's came through, big time! Nola herself and her bartender, Brandi, arrived a couple of hours early and got themselves set up. We barely had to do a thing once we discussed with them where the bar and food platters should go. We got to just go upstairs and take our time getting ready, and come down a few minutes before the party start time and have Brandi fix us a drink to have in hand as our guests arrived. So luxurious! The party was so fun, thanks in large part to Nola and Brandi and the fabulous food, drinks, and service. Our guests raved about all of the yummy platters - particularly the shrimp with aioli sauce, the mushroom flatbread bites, the smoked salmon toasts, and the charcuterie board with roasted and pickled vegetables. People got extra glowy and happy from Brandi's amazing cocktails, including incredible manhattans and French 75s. Nola and Brandi chatted with our guests and even joined in some of the dancing at the end of the evening! We got to get glamorous and visit with everyone fully after so many months of cancelled and postponed events and having to worry about getting together with too many people. It was, in a nutshell, a truly special and memorable event thanks to Nola's, and was completely worth it. We will definitely be using them again. Highly, highly recommend.

None of the food overly impressed me, although some was decent, like the salmon. What appeared to be bbq chicken was so over cooked, I couldn't get it down with a glass of water. Lots of great reviews here, so not looking to take away from the great experiences people have had. Based on my experience, I have a higher bar. Good, not great.
