They took to Miah like she was a magical Disney princess! She was very fun and engaging and seemed personally invested in their progress. I really couldn't ask for more from a swim class experience. Everyone on staff was kind and accommodating, they offered me water and a chair, and I got to sit as close as I wanted during swim class, which was helpful because I like to know what my girls need to work on in terms of water safety. Also worth mentioning is the fact that there is a private shower on site and a hair drying station.

I started having some concerns, the water in the pool always looked dirty, the areas around the pool and the waiting area also looked dirty. In the middle of October, my grandson started complainiing about a stomachache. We thought it was a virus. Two weeks later he still had a stomachache. I took him to the Doctor After many tests, the Doctor said he tested positive for CRYPTOSPORIDIUM, which is a parasite found in dirty pools. It causes respiratory and gastrointestinal illness. Don't ignore your children's coughs and tummyaches. The last time he swam there was at the beginning on November, that was before we knew his test results. I noticed the whole area and pools had had a major cleaning, but we won't send him back there.

I couldn't even put my crawling infant on the floor while we waited on my other child because of all the safety hazards and the carpet was nasty. It was hard keeping him in a stroller. I'm sure this place was once nice, but now it's just old and not taken care of. The young instructors were nice toward the end, but they switched instructors on us on the second day which is a big deal to a nervous child. I never got a reason or explanation and it was up in the air the entire week on who was going to be teaching. I also want to complain about the first day. The instructors didn't really communicate what we needed to do and just sat in the pool without talking until the clock showed it was time to go. Talking to the parents and kids should've happened before the lesson to get us all comfortable with being there.

It is like going to a country club...the facility is beautiful, clean and spacious. And the finishes of the club are high end. Granite countertops, and rich wood finishes in the locker rooms. They supply towels (bath size and hand towel size), shampoo and body soaps. The sauna and steam room are great. NOW....what the club has that I think is a huge step above all other health clubs are the Group fitness classes! They are the best! And ALL the instructors are awesome! If you aren't a Group fitness person, this club has a wide variety of health club equipment....and so much equipement you will NEVER have to wait for a piece of equipment to free up to get on what you want to workout on! It also has a workout floor with free weights, and weight machines .....there is so much I can't give all the detail in this review...BUT you should check it out. There are less expensive health clubs....but you get what you pay for, most don't offer what Lifetime Fitness does...and the Woodstock location is my favorite! I love my LFT family! And I think you will too!

They need this extra earnings coming to stay in business." New class Supposed to be signature membership, now saying big increase $$$ in classes. Starts in May! Signature for a trial period than $$$. GTX format with a new name! Basically, Someone yelling at you on a pilates machine with music. Still better than competition, but you are really paying for it and soon it will just like them. SPIN is the only real core cardio that all ages can do and they cancel it. Poor quality "healthy food" cheese wiz on stale chips. 5 day old broiled chicken on premade salad from days before. Food $$$ & no outside food or drink allowed. Shakes taste a 5 on a scale of 1-10. After taste that keeps you from finishing the whole shake. Each shake $11- $15 Staff is nice, but limited in helping you. Price is set. Memberships very complicated. There really is no "you can go to any gym if you work aboard." each gym has specific benefits. If it doesn't match up boom not allowed. For example: NY has 14 gyms that do not allow you to go. Period! Membership offers a "all gyms" with hike up in $$$. So you pay extra for nothing. Look on line and it shows you how few gyms are interchangeable. Hot tubs need updating. Water is low so it hits you below chest with only 3 jets in the entire tub aimed at your back. Just like a motel would have.

Our daughter has been attending weekly 30-minute lessons at Atlanta Swim Academy for nearly six…read moremonths, and the progress has been remarkable. She started at the Trigger Fish level, advanced to Sea Lions, and just recently graduated to Manta Rays. The academy's structured approach--requiring specific skills to be mastered at each stage--has clearly paid off. She's athletic and attentive, and the instructors have done a fantastic job channeling those strengths into steady improvement. Each level seems to take her about 5-6 weeks to complete, which speaks volumes about both her effort and the academy's teaching methods. With only two levels left after Manta Rays, she's well on her way to being ready for our HOA's competitive summer swim team, which runs six intense weeks with six tournaments. The difference in her confidence and ability in the water is easy to see. Honestly, I may not be able to swim away from her when she chases me in the pool next summer! Watching her master the different strokes has been exciting, and I'm grateful for the academy's clear progression system and supportive environment. Atlanta Swim Academy has been a wonderful investment in her growth, and I highly recommend it to any family looking to build strong swimming skills in a fun, structured way.

All staff has been kind and helpful whenever we've had a question and had to move classes around to work with our schedule. Our youngest has had a hard time transitioning to the next level and everyone has been working with us to make sure she handles it well. Great place!

Classes are only a max of 4 kids to each instructor. There are many classes so I'm able to get both my kids (different levels) at the same class time. Makeup classes have been easy to schedule and we have already switched our class times to fit our summer schedule better. After two classes my daughter became much more comfortable in the water. When lessons are done they get rinsed off (I wish they had actual showers) and we discuss how the class went with the instructor. When we go to the normal pool we work on those things. The only thing I wish was that older kid classes were longer than 30 min. Sometimes it seems too short of a time.

My almost 4 year old has been going to weekly classes for the past few months. He was very scared of the water before, but since starting the classes he is less fearful and seems to enjoy it now. Depending on the day and level, there could be anywhere from 1-4 kids in a class. Although, I wish they would cap the class to 3 kids so there is more time in the water, I still think he is learning a lot. We will see how long it takes him to make progress and will post an update.

I recently left a 5 STAR review for the Briarcliff location, where we had a consistently positive…read moreexperience. After relocating to Johns Creek, we've attended this location for the past three weeks--and unfortunately, the quality has not matched what we previously experienced. The facility is noticeably outdated, with rusted benches in ALL of the changing stalls--something I find concerning, especially with my child barefoot in those areas. The amenities also feel neglected. The same worn coloring sheets have been out for weeks, and the provided markers don't work. These may seem like small details, but they matter when creating a welcoming environment for kids. At Briarcliff, the staff went the extra mile they had connect 4, cornhole and bubble machines going on the Entry and Exit of Class they even gifted the kids Ballons and sickers after EACH SESSION. My biggest concern is the lack of consistency in swim instructors. My son has had a different instructor EVERY session, making it difficult for anyone to assess his progress accurately. He's been with Big Blue since July 2024 and was thriving--yet here, they wanted to demote him back to the beginner class based on a single instructor's brief interaction. One instructor, in particular, was overly aggressive and even ripped a bandage from my son's finger during class without knowing what was underneath--an inappropriate and careless action, especially not knowing my son's sensitivity. To make matters worse, I was told I'd need to get in the water and teach my son the Bright 1 material MYSELF. If that's the expectation, I might as well be the instructor I find that request unacceptable due to the fact that I have spend over thousands of dollars with this company. I've since WITHDRAWN my son from this location, and he is now happily enrolled at Aqua TOTS. Based on our experience, I would NEVER recommend the Johns Creek location to other families.
