Wow! I cannot even describe how amazing Anka's Shamanic massage was. In addition to a lakeside location in a very beautiful stone cave-like large room on a super comfortable massage table, she gave a stellar full-body massage with aromatherapy and different "Shamanic" practices that I couldn't even begin to explain, but my mind and body totally resonated with. It awakened my senses and energy in a very profound way. Anka truly is a healer and I am so grateful I found her. I have already booked my next appointment. read more

Anke is simply the best! I go to her for my manual lymphatic drainage massages. She is very inviting, calming and knowledgeable. I saw her 3 days after my surgery and just after the one massage my swelling had improved a lot! She is very gentle and very effective. I am coming up on my 6th session with her and have had improvements with each one. Anke is also a great listener and provides solutions. Another thing I love is her massage room! It is very cool! Quiet and calm and just really neat looking! If you need a massage/healing then she is the woman to see! You will not be dissapointed. read more

I haven't had a massage in 17 months. My previous massage therapist was like family after 7 years. I was nervous. Anke surpasses everything I was hoping for in a new massage therapist. She has a gift with her hands, and I am so looking forward to my next visit in a few weeks. She took away pains in my knees and hips that a certified PT couldn't touch. Go see her, as she is a special person who will work her magic skills to tune your body back to a balanced place! read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Anke today for the first time after my back seized the night before. I missed a day of work due to the pain. Simply put, Anke was amazing. Anke gave me a deep tissue massage while making me laugh the entire time. Not only was the massage effective because I no longer feel pain in my lower back, but Anke's personality was extremely refreshing. I will definitely be back as a regular client and I highly recommend Anke to anyone looking for a phenomenal massage! A big thank you to Anke for saving my back and to help me get on with my life. read more

What a positively delightfully rejuvenating experience with Anke! She has a warming presence and is very easy-going, yet still professional. Her massage was firm and exactly what I needed. She intuitively tended to issues that I was having in my left shoulder, though I had forgotten to mention it as I gave her a long list of other areas to address in my body that needed priority. That was what really impressed me. She felt my arm had multiple adhesions and that my range of motion was restricted. She went the extra mile taking her time to thoroughly massage it and get the adhesions released when I never even told her it was bothering me. Also, I'm very interested in attending one of her spiritual workshops. So, I'll be back for more, Anke! read more

Wow!!! This woman has Angelic hands!!! She is amazing , understanding and gives u more than u expect. She is amazing I definitely recommend her, it was the best experience I have ever had with a masseuse/ healer. I definitely felt an Angelic presence, as she worked on me. Healers like her are not easy to find. If u definitely need a true spiritual experience you will definitely have it with her. I will be going back to her!! read more

I recently had surgery and needed Manual Lymphatic drainage massage to help with the swelling. I tried a few therapists but was not satisfied. Anke was God sent! A series of unforeseen connections steered me to Anke. If you are open minded and open hearted, and something deep inside you is calling, Anke is likely the answer. If you're reading this review, your life connections have already guided you to Embrace Infinity. Contact Anke and let her know what your self is telling you that you need. She will guide your steps gently down the path of Healing. Her home-based studio is a relaxing and healing space .... a welcoming and serene setting in a beautiful slice of nature. Beautiful views of Lake Hodges. The space she did her massage treatment in is part cave, part womb, and pure Peace. I could feel the healing energy as I pulled up to her house. When I entered the room, my Spirit knew I was "home". Add Anke's energy and Spirit - it becomes a Magical Space. Her massage techniques and methods are as diverse as her State of Grace ... essential oils, hot stones, lymphatic, etc -- she is a true "Healer". It's a calling for her, and I am so Grateful she answered it. She brings all her senses, and they flow out of her as a blessing. She is intuitive, observant, and a master artist At just the right time, she went to the areas of my greatest physical pain, tightness, and discomfort. Then, she flowed effortlessly to areas of greater need that I was unaware of - until she began to work them. The lymphatic work is something that has already set me on new healing trajectories. I am so Grateful the Universe placed Anke on my path to LovingKindness in my own Self care. I can barely contain my enthusiasm for my next visit.. Read her Bio and background on her website. Read some of the other testimonials here. The end of a 30+ year marriage, my father's ailing Health, caring for my Father while simultaneously healing abuse I suffered at his hands as a boy, my brother suffering a horrific electrocution .... four years ago, these events broke me. Fortunately, I found my way out of pain and self injury mindsets I learned as a child. I now have (re)claimed the inner Wonder and Purity every child is born with. I am finally becoming whole. The fact it took 58 years only makes it sweeter. Anke is now a significant piece in my personal healing journey. Whatever path you're on, if you've come across Anke, you are on the good path. I was referred to Anke by a friend. I can say, hands down, that she gives one of the best massages I've ever experienced, and I have had massages from many different therapists. Here's why: Many massage therapists are good and know their anatomy, but talk your ear off during what is supposed to be a relaxing experience. Anke is not chatty during our massages, she plays relaxing music, her massage room is beautiful and cozy, and she really knows her stuff in terms of how the musculoskeletal body functions. She goes DEEP, which is what I need. I feel her intention is to dedicate her magic hands to each client's needs. My body and mind are healed after our sessions; she instinctively knows where on my body needs extra care. Anke is strong yet nurturing. I am lucky I have found such a gem. read more

What a wonderful massage therapist and what a wonderful person. When I went to see her because of a flair up of radiating leg pain due to herniated discs, she made an instant personal connection with me that made me feel safe and understood. I have dealt with soooo many different types of healthcare professionals and have very rarely come across one as truly interested and passionate about her work as Anke. To me, this is invaluable because not only will they try their best to help you, but their chances of succeeding are greater because of the communication and understanding. All of this was true for my session with her. The massage was both healing and relaxing, using a variety of techniques including hot stones. And I especially liked the emphasis on aroma therapy. I'm really sensitive to strong smells (they can make me sick even if they smell 'good') and whatever she used was wonderful. Best of all, she gave me a lot of advice on what to do after, much more than the usual 'drink lots of water'. She even gave me some reading recommendations! And the next day I got a follow up text. My own doctor of 5 years doesn't even call me back within the week let alone follow up the next day lol. So if you are looking for someone who will give you a high level of personal attention and care, it doesn't matter if you are excruciating pain or simply looking to relax, Anke will take amazing care of you. I'll be seeing her again soon. read more

Amazing! Anke knows her stuff and really listens to you. I'm a personal trainer and I workout hard. Anke's background in physical therapy is extremely helpful if I get injured or if I am out of alignment. I feel like a new person after I leave her studio. I wish I could go everyday. She used to work on the Chargers so if she can handle those beat up bodies, she can definitely handle yours. I'm really picky when it comes to deep tissue and she is one of the best I've ever had. read more

Anke Kramer is not only a skilled massage therapist but a caring and talented healer. She has provided me with some of my most memorable and decadent body work. It is always an anticipated treat to visit her cozy home by the beach in downtown Encinitas for some loving touch. She integrates many techniques (hot stones, deep tissue, aromatherapy and sound therapy) into a standard session. Of course you can communicate to her if you have special needs or desires! She has a background in physical therapy too which makes her very tuned into working carefully on or around injured areas. I would give her a strong recommendation- her prices are very reasonable and she will exceed expectations. Treat yourself or a loved one today! She also offers gift certificates- perfect for Mother's day or a birthday! Much gratitude Anke! read more

Anke is truly amazing. She does a wonderful job. I highly recommend her. You will not be sorry.

Anka is the best massage I have ever received! She has a healing touch that cant be matched, and her background in sports really comes through in healing and understanding the body! I see her weekly at her home office on the coast in Encinitas! It is a great environment. Anka keeps me in the game! I am a professional snowboarder who competes in the X games/Dew tour etc and it's safe to say that with out her healing touch and experience in sports related injuries, I don't know if I could continue on competing at this high level. Thanks Anka! read more

No outside interference, no phones, no one talking in the lobby. It is absolutely perfect and I thank Anke for her caring and always listens to what you need and want. read more

I just want to thank Anke for a wonderful, relaxing morning. I found her via yelp and was able to quickly book an appointment. She got back to me right away and accommodated my schedule. When you arrive on her property you feel immediately relaxed. The beautiful view of the lake was so nice. Her massage room is completely unique and awesome! The rock walls are so cool. She has a very initiative touch and I never had to ask her for more or less pressure in certain areas, she responded to my muscle tension perfectly. It was such a nice little break from the week. Thank you again, I will be a regular customer from now on. read more

I was in the market for a new massage therapist and after seeing all her five-star reviews on Yelp and learning about her history of working with athletes, I decided to give Anke a call. I was not disappointed. Her home-based studio is a relaxing and healing space. Her massage combines a variety of techniques and methods (i.e., hot stones, essential oils, lymphatic, etc -- she knows the whole gamut) and she is incredibly skilled and strong. She also listens and is observant -- managing to find the exact spot that needs to be released. I consistently leave her studio feeling relaxed and energized. Anke has also studied healing arts at the Four Winds school, which I had never heard of. But, I did have curiosity about her shamanic practice so after a few traditional massage sessions, I felt comfortable asking her more about it and decided to give her Medicine Wheel class a try. It was a four week workshop, met for a few hours once a week, and was limited to 8 students. I arrived nervous and with one eyebrow raised, skeptical that it might be too new-agey or touchy-feely for me. It turns out, it was awesome. Yes, there were rattles and sacred space, which may not be everyone's cup of tea, particularly if you are a skeptic like me. But, at the end of the day, I'm so glad I gave the class a shot. The affect it has had on my life was profound. It helped that Anke is very genuine and down-to-earth. She's a real straight-shooter. No BS. Not pushy. Not new-agey/ethereal. Just very direct and straightforward, but also kind and remarkably perceptive. I admit I was surprised, maybe even a bit taken aback, at how the tools I learned in the class were helpful. I particularly found the three-card story and ancestral altar-building exercises to be great for self-reflection. But I was most surprised at the transformative affect using these tools had on my perspective and belief in myself! I had been at a place where I felt stuck for a long time, both personally and professionally. Her class gave me the boost and insight I needed to face fears head on and move forward. By the time the four weeks were up, I felt stronger. A few months later, I was able to line things up so I felt I could comfortably quit my job without having another one, take time to get some much-need rest, and have now secured a new job that I think I'm really going to love. Six months ago, I felt trapped in a cubicle, believed I was stuck and washed up, totally uncertain where to go next or what to do about it. Now, I am in the process of moving to a city that I've only dreamed of living in and for a job that I really think is going to work out well. I think to be successful with Shamanic Healing, you need to be open to taking a good, hard, honest look at yourself and not view it at as some kind of a magical cure-all for your problems. Anke and her co-teacher (Emily) for my particular class, supplied me with the tools I needed, but as with everything in life, only you can do the hard work. I cried on more than one occasion in my sessions, which isn't my typical modus operandi, so it was a safe space to be really open and she was great about supplying the tissue. My classmates were also very nice. I have told Anke more than once that, at least for me, her classes and our private sessions were more effective at helping me bring about life change in a short period of time than seeing a life coach or therapist. She helped me sort through some very tough issues and fears that had been holding me back for a long period of time. Now, I don't expect my life to always be rosy, but I do feel more confident that the next time life throws me multiple curve balls all at once, I have some effective tools in my bag to manage things better. Whether you decide to see Anke just for a traditional massage or if you have a curiosity about giving the shamanic classes a try like I did to develop some openness to bring some perspective change to your life, I'd highly recommend Anke's services. read more

I began seeing Anke for Physical Therapy to increase the range of motion in my ankle that has been messed up from a 25 yr old sports injury. While Anke does amazing massages, my emphasis is getting my ankle as normal as possible. Anke has been great at focusing getting me back to do the things that I desire. She works dliigently at the area of most concern, but works the entire body for balance. My swelling is gone, my range of motion is increasing and I am confident that is old injury will not get the best of me while Anke is working on the issue. You must go see her if you have chronic pain or injuries or just need a massage. read more

I had an appointment with Anke today. She fit me in after she had a cancellation which I truly appreciated because I really wanted to feel better sooner than later. She took the time to talk to me first and find out my concerns. She's a gifted healer. Thank you Anke! read more

I just had a Shamanic Reading with Anke, and I have to say it was one of the most profound experiences I have ever had, she was amazing!!! She took so much time and care in my session, leaving no stone unturned, giving me information and insight that was life changing. Everything she said resonated with me, right into the core of my being - so much inspiration, wisdom, and healing. I was blown away! I don't think there are words to express my deep gratitude for this time with her. Her integrity, insight, and wisdom were a gift beyond anything I could have anticipated. read more

Anke and I worked together in a very busy sports clinic and she was who all the Chargers wanted to be treated by. Some would just wait for her! Imagine a super athlete waiting for anything? She has the strength and the gentleness and knows how to apply it. Last but not least, she is a professional. Thank you Anke, for getting the kinks ironed out! read more

I can't say more great things about my experience with Anke! She is absolutely everything I was looking for. Someone with great wisdom and a welcoming heart. I moved to the area not to long ago and was nervous about finding the right fit for myself. And Anke couldn't have been more perfect for what I was (am) needing! I went in so locked up, drained in every aspect, overly stressed, on the edge of a complete mental breakdown and left feeling like a completely new woman! Even my partner mentioned that I seemed so much more grounded than before!! Truly such a special experience for myself and encourage anyone else that feels like they need some much needed tlc to go to Anke! read more

Anke can do anything! She is an amazing woman. Recently I took her journeying class and as someone who knew little to nothing about shamanic anything she was very helpful! She spent time explaining things I didn't understand and was so welcoming. On top of that earlier this year I injured my arm while playing softball and I didn't know what to do! I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount on treatment but little did I know Anke used to be an physical therapist. She was able to help and she helped me get back onto the field! I appreciate her so much for making me into a better person both spiritually and physically! read more

I found Embrace Infinity when I was searching for lymphatic massage after a cosmetic procedure I had done. When I first checked out her website it was easy to use and her prices and services were front and center. For me, finding out what a business offers and how much they charge is #1 priority for me! Anke is AMAZING!! She is not only a very gifted masseuse, but a true healer. She offers services beyond your typical cookie cutter massage joint. Her therapy room that is inside of her home is nothing short of amazing! When I arrived for my lymphatic massage I noticed that Anke's home had a beautiful lake view which gave me such a serene and peaceful feeling. Her therapy room is so relaxing and calming. Combined with Anke's awesome capabilities, I experienced the best massage I have ever had! Not only will I return for more massages, I will be scheduling my husband (who's back is so bad due to his job) for a deep tissue massage with Anke. I rarely give reviews but when I find a business like this, I want everyone in SD to enjoy it. I'm very picky with whose services I use. I am NOT a "spa massage" type person. I'm busy, stressed, not a fan of "frou-frou" and won't be a return customer unless I'm wowed. Well, I'm wowed. She has the experience and knowledge to understand muscle pain, stress (and how it effects the body), techniques and knowing how to help without hurting you (which has happened with my last 2 attempts with other MT's). She has this great place overlooking Lake Hodges and the coolest part is her treatment/healing room is downstairs INSIDE these massive boulders. Talk about being "grounded" lol. I now use Anke and a Chiro (both of which worked for the SD Chargers) every week when I'm not travelling and it's literally changed my life of pain and imbalance. My advice is; 1) Have an open mind, this is not Massage Envy (meh), this is legit AILMENT REPAIR and this woman knows her Sh&!. 2) Follow her advice! When she tells you to ice, stretch etc DO IT 3) Accept the fact you will never end up going anywhere else. In 1-2 sessions you're going to realize she can REALLY help you and you will always run to her when you hurt! I made standing appointments for every Saturday morning instead of letting the pain come back up. San Diego, she's the real deal. read more

Anke is Awesome. As you approach her studio near the ocean you feel you are in a good place. I found her last year after viewing numerous great yelp reviews, and have been coming back ever since. Whenever I want to do something nice for someone I treat them to a session with Anke. When my goddaughter visited recently she went hang gliding off the cliffs at Torrey Pines followed by a great massage with Anke. If you are not as daring you can skip the hang gliding and go directly to Anke. You will be glad you did. read more

This was perfect! Beautiful and calming place and atmosphere - Anke listened to what I wanted/needed and I left there feeling fantastic! All the kinks and stress were removed. I can't wait to go back for my now monthly appointment. Thank you Anke! read more

I'm not one to post reviews often but am motivated to leave one for Anke and Embrace Infinity. This is a quaint little studio in the hillside above Lake Hodges. One wouldn't necessarily seek out a massage in this area but I'm so glad I had the opportunity (thanks to a Groupon deal). The studio is in a "cave-like" setting downstairs from her home. The setting is very tranquil and relaxing, not to mention the peaceful atmosphere outdoors. Anke did an AMAZING job with a combination of hot stones, aromatherapy, and Swedish-style massage. You immediately feel that she puts all her soul and energy into her work. While she stuck to the 90 minute timeline, I felt like I was there for hours -it was that good! It's not often that I'm ready to be done after 90 minutes but Anke was very thorough in her work and I felt completely relaxed when she finished. I poured myself off the table feeling so serene, and blissful. My budget does not allow for massages often but I immediately purchased a second one for after the holidays. I hope you will give Embrace Infinity a try. I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

Anke is the VERY BEST massage therapist I have ever been to! This is why I ONLY go to her! Anke is professional, reliable, flexible with her schedule and reasonalbly priced! Her treatment room is SPOTLESS, relaxing and quiet. Anke is not only talented, she is a wonderful caring, warm, down to earth person, she truly cares about her clients which is why I am so loyal to her! Anke is a true professional; knowledgable and capable isolating the root cause of specific pain and applying requisite pressure and manipulation required to relax muscles and eliminate pain. As a military pilot, often my gear and position in the aircraft for extended periods of time promote poor posture and the physical stress manifests neck and back pain. Periodically, I go see Anke, explain where my pain exists and she is able to immediately isolate the issue where is originates, which is surprisingly often not where the pain exists, and then work the muscles into relaxation causing the pain to exit the body. Recently, after a very busy season without much time to physically train, my neck had physically seized and both my upper and lower back were sore. I had an annual physical test approaching and was nervous my performance would be degraded due to my injury. Anke immediately knew what was wrong and during my hour session she focused on the issue with hot rock therapy, pressure application and muscle manipulation to drive the pain out. I was sore following the treatment but my back loosened, my neck more mobile and two days later I aced my physical test! Anke is such a gentle person and her genuine care is apparent upon first introduction. She provides a soothing environment and initial rapport to allow patrons to relax and rid themselves of the stressors of the world in order to truly sink into a meditative state and allow her to manipulate muscles appropriately without subconscious tension or pushback by the individual. Often people associate massages with luxury and privileged relaxation...shoot, that's what I thought about massages. However, as athletes, service members, or any other profession or habitual activity that requires strenuous physical activity, massages should be viewed as preventative maintenance for your muscular system. Much like you change the oil and rotate the tires on your car, you should periodically tune up your body as well. read more

I was referred to Anke by my Acupuncturist who highly recommended her for deep tissue massage.
