I would not go there with a specific book or item in mind because they're unlikely to have it on hand, but it's a great little shop to peruse and/or pick up a gift for someone. I did not find the mother/daughter bible study I was looking for, but I did walk out with a Spanish children's bible and a high quality adult coloring book for my kids. If you do need something specific, the owner told me she can place special orders. She also recovers bibles, in case you have one in need of repair. It's hard to know exactly how a shop like this can survive in a world with Amazon, but I'm glad to see it and happy to support it. The owner is very friendly and I imagine this draws in the repeat customers. I know I'll be back!

(I had only ever been to ones with pre-made boxes like at NFM.) First off staff here was outstanding! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the product. Plus they offered a sample when I came in of an item. The smallest size of a picking from the case item is a half pound box. I was able to find plenty of options that worked with my preference &/or a family member's favorites. My box ended being slightly heavier than the half pout ... I think .64 pounds ... so my total came to a little over $20. Which isn't bad when you think of getting a choose your own "adventure" box of fancier chocolates! Selections include little bagged treats to mini boxed chocolates to bigger ones. You could even custom pick which chocolates to include in your box. They have a display counter of all their individual offerings to choose from. Try not to drool. The employees here are super friendly on every single one of my visits. They hand out a sample when you walk in. The store is small but always neat. I'm not a fan of malls but I'm not lying when I say See's is one of the few stores I go there for. Take the food court entrance and walk through, then hang a slight left. See's is definitely higher in quality than your average boxed chocolates and at a fair price. Though even with that it is still pricey. Two shirts even with a discount was $45 with the change rolled up for food bank donations. So not somewhere I would shop regularly, even though they have some amazing items. Staff is friendly and helpful but can be really pushy when it comes to the deal. This last time I was there i really was only there for this one $28 shirt. I had all 3-4 employees stop me when looking around for the sake of looking around to make sure I knew to pick up a second shirt for that % off which bumped me up to that $45 when I found something for my daughter. The previous to that time I resisted the urge to buy a second, and as I was checking out I was asked 3 times if I was sure I didn't want to find a second item for % off. I know they are in the business of making money but it's a little much sometimes in this particular stores when you are normally an introverted shopper.

We sent my engagement ring and wedding band of to get resized. 1st of all they were late getting my ring back to me. When I called to check on them the lady who answered was so rude! She told me it'll get there when it get there. After it was late. 2nd When we got both rings back the wedding band was missing a diamond out. My engagement ring lost 3 of the diamonds in less then a week and I was in a sling! 3rd They ordered a brand new ring for me and we were going to turn in the original and the paper work. My fiancé was comparing the paper work and they were going to give us a SI2 diamond when my original ring has a VS1. We said something to Stacey(the sweetest associate ever) about the lower quality diamond not being what we paid and he complained agreed and went to William the only Gemologist there and he said "wow they are really still complaining" We weren't complaining we just wanted what we had paid for. The William then came over and proceeded to tell us all the problems we caused by us. As soon as he said that I told them I to return all 3 Leo rings and that I no longer wanted them. Stacey and Alex the other associates apologized many times for their Bosses behavior. I have never been so upset and disappointed at a Jewelry store. Engagements are supposed to be a happy relaxing time and that is not what William made it. We will definitely not be going back to Kay's. Pay attention and do your research!!

We chose to purchase the rose quartz and tourmaline in the raw. They are so beautiful. The polished ones are great too but the raw are just stunning. We also bought incense. James is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and yes, it's way more expensive than what you can find on Amazon or wherever else but this is ALL this store has. Crystals. I came with a list and filled it plus some more that I couldn't leave here without. I'll definitely be back - not for the rock (pun intended) bottom prices but for the knowledge and variety. They offer classes and trainings and I'll be here for all of it when I can. Highly recommend!
