James is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and yes, it's way more expensive than what you can find on Amazon or wherever else but this is ALL this store has. Crystals. I came with a list and filled it plus some more that I couldn't leave here without. I'll definitely be back - not for the rock (pun intended) bottom prices but for the knowledge and variety. They also offer personal services for chakra clearing and crystal balancing by appointment although they seemed so friendly I wouldn't be surprised if they agreed to accommodate an impromptu request. The owner was on hand and full of helpful information. He seemed to be able to read which customers wanted to talk and those who didn't. I was genuinely surprised by the constant flow of foot traffic during my brief visit. Price-wise, they're comparable to similar stores in regards to crystals, and as far as I have seen they have the largest selection of stones in the metroplex - both in size availability and variety of stones offered. Another thing that sets them a part are the mini description cards provided for each fragment, big or small, explaining the primary properties and healing attributes. Other odds and ends offered are probably $1-$5 more than typical. A must mention - they have sage bundles, including some mixed with lavender and sweet grass, in what I'd call an XXL &/or XXXL size for only $10-$13. I was searching for a natural shaped hematite that would fit nicely in my palm. I've been plagued by terrible migraines and after trying nearly every other remedy, not to mention quite a bit of urging on a coworker's part, I decided to give using a crystal a try. Soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and asked if there was anything I was looking for in particular. I barely mentioned a migraine, when I was pointed directly to the hematite. (Little more faith in my coworker developed in that moment.) They did have this crystal throughout the store in various sizes, but found the size / shape I had been looking for immediately. Before leaving I did explore a bit more and ended up leaving with a few other items including a cute amethyst keychain that was a very well received gift.

Another missing review!!!…read more Over 30 years ago I discovered Chango Botanica. Chances are if you aren't familiar with this type of shop and their offering then Santeria is not on your radar. An African diasporic religion that developed in Cuba in the 19th century. A mixture of West African Yoruba and the Catholic form of Christianity. This shop provides the necessities for followers or believers as they are called. In May of 2014, Roxanne K mentioned in her review, the patriarch had passed and the son intended to carry on. I talked to his son today and he continues his commitment to carry on his father's legacy for the family in supplying the needs of the Santeria community. This is a Santeria shop catering to the needs of this Afro-Cuban religion. These people are serious about their offering and surprisingly serve a large community. The upward pressure of real estate values in this area has forced a lot of businesses to cash out for huge sums. For now, this tradition continues, and its a good thing. Better than another CVS which bought one of my favorite old Mexican restaurants down the street that was 70 years old and tore it down. Whether you have Santeria needs or not, stop in and check it out(respectfully). I'm sure they will welcome you.

We asked about a house cleansing ritual, and he knew exactly what we needed. He thoughtfully recommended a special blend from behind the counter and took the time to explain how to use it properly. Everyone working there was super helpful and friendly! They had a tarot reader in-store doing readings which was so fun! They have a very large array of crystals, incense, tarot materials, teas, and more! I picked up a small emerald that was sourced from Colombia and a beautiful selenite Om crystal. If you follow their instagram, you get a free gift after purchase. They gave me a beautiful heart-shaped labradorite! Can't wait to come back!

The space is beautifully decorated and spacious. She had a huge monitor on the wall with my picture and Happy Birthday (I'm famous) There are sooooo many scents to choose from. This is the most difficult part, choosing a winning combination. Ebony is very professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable. She adjusted to our overwhelming party filled energy with ease, kept us on task and helped us make great candles. Scheduling was a breeze! She was friendly, but I feel like we had to remind her of the options we paid for. My husband paid for a charcuterie Upgrade and we were almost done with making our candles when we awkwardly asked. When we told her she went and grabbed one large martini glass with a charcuterie that I could've eaten myself, but it was to share. They have an amazing quality of oils and wax. Not your typical - I believe it is made with coconut oil. The place feels very luxurious and I can see amazing things happening.
