Place is always clean, I even bring my blacklight to check. Since I have asthma and allergic to feathers, the staff makes sure everything is feather free before I check in. Twice already I was given complimentary upgrade. Front desk is always high in customer service. I don't gamble, but went I walk across the casino to get to the parking area or night market, there's no smoke whatsoever. I just found out they are pet friendly. And so is the night market. So next time we bring the fur babies. Not to mention their outstanding spa. I'll write that review on their own page. Also compared to the other hotels in the area, the price is pretty decent.

The parking garage was so dirty and smelled so bad we ended up paying for the valet. We had one issue of calling down for our car and we waited 22 minutes, went to ask and the switchboard didn't pass the message to valet so we had to wait again. The room was fine, one of our outlets didn't work, water stains on the ceiling, dim lighting in the bathroom, the bed lights didn't work. They also have no microwaves in any of the ice rooms but they will charge $25 a day for housekeeping to bring one. The pool had algae and some black stuff. The hot pool jets did not work. The floor was super slippery with no grip. Also no towels available for the pool. The busboy was nice. Overall the hotel was overpriced for the quality.

Our Condo was well located in Downtown Vancouver, and easily walkable to Stanley Park, the West End, Gas Town, and places in-between. The Condo also had a nice view of the skyline and a nice living room to relax and take it all in. The unit was also clean and well appointed. There were a few "negatives": 1. The pool and gym require a walk over to the nearby Sheraton. We also found that with Uber, it's best to go over to Sheraton for pickup and drop off as the algorithm can't seem to comprehend 1080 Hornby Street. 2. Even with AC within this hot Vancouver week, the Condo was stuffy and required multiple fans to help with overall comfort. 3. This Condo had no balcony or other outdoor hangout option, other than finding a local park.

It was a quick check in and we were early but a room was ready. There are a few snacks for purchase, water refill, and tourist brochures. We headed down the ramp and towards the two elevators. For all the floors in the buildings, the elevators were pretty quick. We made our way to the 23rd floor to our apartment style hotel that we would be staying at for the next 5 nights. We entered and there was a washer and dryer, and a large closet that had the broom and a fan. I think the safe was also in the closet. The kitchen space was great to have a full sized fridge, stove, coffee maker, and lots of pots and pans and utensils. This was very convenient as we went to get groceries for breakfast every day. The seating area had a tv, and counter place for when we ate. It wasn't big and there was no dining table but it was sufficient. There was also a temperature control in this space. Both bedrooms were spacious with one having large windows with great views of downtown. The other room had a small window. There were 2 bathrooms, and one that was in the area of the smaller bedroom. The other bathroom was spacious. There's a parkade and it's secure requiring the room key to enter and exit, and also enter the elevator. We didn't have an issue to find a parking space during our stay. During our stay, they were were accommodating when we requested more coffee, paper towels, and laundry pods. The only complaints I have were that it could get noisy from all the sirens in the night, and that our bedroom could get cold at night. Otherwise, everything about this place was great! There's a games room with a ping pong table, pool table, and many books. The location was also great and convenient to be downtown.

This time we reserved a water side tent. We could not have been happier. This thing is an actual tent with a metal frame. It's one main space with a small bump out for the water closet. There's a shower/sink area with a jetted soaking tub on the other side. Don't get any illusions about sound insulation or sound privacy. These things are lightly constructed and move in the wind which was very cool because a wind storm rolled in. The sea was rolling and all we could here was wind and breakers hitting the rocks below us. There's a gas fireplace inside and the double doors lead out onto the deck for the unobstructed view. We had no problems with the front desk or housekeeping. Just know the way you get to the tents is on a long raised boardwalk along the cliff side. If you get a tent with a high number it's a pretty good hump. There are also copious amounts of stairways leading to the tents from the walkway. They have some luggage carts to use and they pick them up after you drag your stuff to your tent. We enjoyed every minute and barely left our tent. It was pretty quiet and restful. The restaurant/bar is in the main building and is considered high end. The prices certainly are but I did not see that in the food per se. I had seafood linguine. It had scallops (scallop bits actually) shrimp, Krab, and a hint of salmon. First off when you put shrimp in a creamy pasta dish the tails need to be removed. The shrimp in my dish had tails. I took time to remove them which I shouldn't have had to do. The salmon was a few flaky chunks about the size of my thumbnail. The flavor was okay but I found the sauce a bit runny and the linguine was not cooked long enough for me. I did not complain though. My Bride had a lamb dish with vegetables and whipped potatoes. We are coming back to stay here but will most likely not patronize the restaurant. I thought it was overpriced even at the US to Canada exchange rate. This takes nothing away from the resort. It's amazing here and we shall return.

Check-in was done at the lobby. At the lobby one will also find a store and a coffee shop. Complimentary movies and games can also be checked out at the lobby to enjoy back at your lodging. The store offers a little bit of everything, from clothing to snacks. Complimentary ice machines are available. Bagged ice can be purchased though. Lower-level parking is limited and was completely full in the evenings. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot every time we returned from playing. Wheel barrel type carts located at the gate make transporting luggage effortless to rooms. Adirondack chairs are scattered about the edge of the property to enjoy sipping a beverage, reading or admiring the view. A fire-pit, community BBQ, picnic area and kids play area help pass the time while on-site. The paly area is at the lobby end for those who do not wish to have quarters near noise. The cabin we were given was number 10, a handicap unit. The very first cabin upon entrance and the furthest from the lobby and play area. Our cabin was clean and well equipped. Snug Harbor provided us the peace that we were seeking at the time. My one suggestion would be to offer fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby to establish a more personal touch.

You can tell someone put care into creating a space that feels relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. Disappointing - I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to stay silent. I ordered a Chardonnay and was shocked to see the pour -- a measly 4 oz for $7.99. That's barely more than a tasting sample, and certainly not what you'd expect for the price. To make matters worse, they informed me there was a two-drink limit per hour when I asked for another glass 1hr 45 min later at the outside table with my family. I politely asked for another glass and was refused, despite being completely sober, weighing over 190 lbs, and standing 6 feet tall. There was no reasoning, no discussion -- just a flat-out refusal I can't serve you ar this time. The staff's tone? Cold at best, condescending at worst. If you value fair service, reasonable pours, and basic respect, I'd suggest you take your business elsewhere. Friendly staff? Not quite. Overpriced micro-pours and arbitrary limits discriminating absolutely. Cabins are cute but then that's the only little bar/ convenience store on the property so it really ruined the flavor of this cute place. You've been warned.

While the rooms aren't modern, the views from the Harborside buildings are fabulous. What a lovely spot to sit out on the deck and have a peaceful breakfast. I enjoy walking around the property, and hope to visit someday during the summer to take advantage of the waterside adult swimming pool--one of the best PNW pool views I've seen. (There is a kid-friendly outdoor pool located at the center of the property, and an indoor salt water pool located adjacent to the spa that's open year-round.) The charming mansion is fun to explore, and the restaurant offers tasty menus items (with vegetarian and vegan options, hooray). Although it's fun to stay in different vacation rentals across the island, I'd be happy to come back to Rosario in the future. The mansion was (as people have said) shut down and there was just a bunch of trash outside of it. This also meant no amenities so the advertised pool/hot tub, etc. just not a part of it. -The room itself also has clearly not been updated in a while with old outlets, stained couches, and stained walls from the fire place? Honestly this stuff wouldn't really bother me that much had the price just been wayyyy lower. Hiltons offer way nicer rooms for half the price with real people there to help. I think maybe while they're renovating they should just offer price cuts but oh well. I did ultimately enjoy my stay and will be back to Orcas Island for its cute charm :)
