Absolutely fantastic. 10 out of 10. Exquisite food and service. I had a seven group dinner on a Saturday night in November. The hostess knew who I was when I arrived. We had a fantastic table and they were aware it was my birthday. Throughout the night the service was absolutely fantastic. Cannot say anything bad about it. The food was spectacular. A lot of my friends hadn't tried caviar before and were absolutely in love with it . there wasn't a single plate that came out that anyone didn't like besides one person who didn't like raw tuna. We were raving about our meal for days afterwards. The restaurant looks upscale but not super fancy. Like modern and elegant. You definitely still need to dress up when you go. Make your reservation way ahead of time. I had to keep checking in every day in order to get a reservation for seven people. You're required to make a 1000 peso deposit per person which is applied to your dinner. They put the total price including the deposit on your final receipt but only charge you the remainder. With drinks and all, it came out to about $246 per person which is pretty steep. Definitely not a casual dinner spot but worth trying once in your lifetime

My favorite meal of my CDMX trip! Amazing Japanese Mexican fusion dishes. We tried: - one each of the non alcoholic drinks. both were balanced and delicious. - Cactus consommé 9/10: I wanted more of this! - mushroom tempura 9/10: imo enoki doesn't have the body for tempura. It was a little too much oil for my personal taste and alone I'd give it 8/10. BUT the mole was 11/10 incredible. I must have finished every last bit of it with the bread. The bread was also 10/10. Fluffy and served warm and perfect. - tuna crudo 8.5/10: tuna was fresh, sauces were tasty enough - charred baby corn 9/10: docking one point because the char was a little too much for me (can't tell in the pic because the charred parts were mostly face down). But the flavor of the sauce they came in was 11/10. I wanted to drink it! - grilled seabass 8.5/10: cooked well, the flavor of the sauce just wasn't as stand out - Mamey tiramisu and pixtle ice cream 9/10: really interesting flavors, both that I can't really find in the US. Tasty finish to an amazing meal. I think I need to plan another CDMX trip just to eat here again.

This was a great tasting menu, with inspired riffs on traditional dishes. Staff was great, ambiance was great. 10/10 would go again.

We order pan de dulce for the table and we got 2 conchas, soft and warm just made. A chocolate roll and a fig and nata pastry along with coffee for the table. We order hievos rancheros with the red sauce. Huevos revueltos con chorizo, omelete con flor de calabaza y tamal de elote con crema. We also order a birria de res to share with the table. Service was very quick, efficient and friendly menus can be had in english or Spanish . My daughter order a hot chocolate with preparation table side, she said it was amazing. Fantastic place for brunch but arrive before 9:45am otherwise lines and some slight wait after 10am.

No music beyond the 2 guitar player going around table to table to see if you wanted a serenade. Skipped their offer 1st time around. Pretty quiet, bright and clean. Found that waiter spoke a little English and with our little Spanish got things done. Menus are bilingual Spanish-English. Ordered 4 lamb tacos, chile en nogada, cooked chicken in green sauce and a fish dish (forgot name, little spicy) then a coke, horchata and a pineapple drink. We got chips, cheese, sauce while waiting. Those were all nicely done but average. Dishes out maybe 10 min later. All presented well and hot. We shared each dish. Lamb tacos nicely done, little dry, but they give you some guacamole, a brown sauce, along with the green sauce and cheese with the tortilla chips. Nice, not fatty. Next was the chiles en nogada. First time tried this and really enjoyed, many flavors and nicely flavored beef. In general little on sweet side, so probably couldn't eat more than 1. The chicken in green sauce was a homey, comfort food. Nicely cooked chicken leg and thigh was an ever so slightly spicy sauce. Also came with tortilla wraps and Spanish riceLastly was the spicy baked fish. Done well, fell apart pretty easily, was spicy, but not too much. Had green beans on side done well, not too soft or hard, and Spanish rice. Drinks were all a hit. Coke is coke. Horchata and pineapple juice served in big mugs. Pineapple tastes freshly squeezed and horchata was a super solid example in every way. Oh almost forgot, later in the meal we figured out how to get the 2 guitar fellows to play for us. 2 songs for 300 peso, about 7min total. They did a good job with both the guitar and singing, was enjoyable to listen to them. Would stop back again if in area.

Very busy restaurant and located in a very lovely area. The staff was amazing and in sync. We started with some cocktails - the guava mezcalita and jamaica mezcalita and also the chardonnay that was very tasty. Here's what we had: -Tostadas de atun(tuna tostadas)- must get -Ensalada de Pulpo con patatas tibias con albhaca(octopus with potatoes and basil) - octopus wasn't very good and there was no flavor -Pescado à la talla Contramar(grilled whole fish with salsas on top)I would only get the one with just the red sauce, the green sauce didn't have a lot of flavor. This is very filling and enough for 4 people -Tacos de Pescado estilo Ensenada(fried fish tacos) - these were ok The dessert, though!! This is what the extra star is for - The Meringue with Fresas(meringue cake with strawberries)- OMG soooo good. Even after how incredibly full we were, we could not stop eating this. Delicious and so unique but with the classic flavor of strawberries and whipped cream. Don't forget to add a carajillo! À delicious coffee drink with coffee liqueur.
