We hired a nanny, paid all fees to Front Range Nannies and the nanny we selected texted me at 9:15pm on Sunday evening to say she wouldn't be able to start the next day and wasn't sure when she would be able to start at all. I didn't hear from her all week and decided we wouldn't be able to move forward with her as we really needed someone dependable. After speaking to Haley, she was unwilling to refund the placement fee. She said the fee was non-refundable and that it was mentioned in the contract. Annoying, but okay, I understand that contracts are contracts. She offered to provide a partial refund of $287.50. That was in August. We have sent more than 5 emails and called twice with no response. While I doubt we will ever see that refund, I wanted to warn other parents before going forward with this company. Communication was very important to us and after being completely ghosted by Haley, I would not recommend doing business with Front Range Nannies.

Poor communication and follow through at times unless she wanted to be paid. No clear documentation about polices, refunds, how the agency handles issues with nannies in short term placement or how the agency handles situations where they did not fulfill their end of the service paid for. As of the time this review is being written, none of their policies are available on their website and they are not included in their fee schedule. In my situation, the services paid for were not fully provided (no background check, nanny claims references were not called, no sample contract, sub nanny program offered is run by the owner and there is no one else to help when she is ill or unable to check her email- so it's not as consistent as promised). The nanny did not last more than 2 weeks due to a few issues. The concern about references was taken to haley and her only response was that she had called them. I asked why the nanny would make this up, and clearly one of them is lying. She told me she was done responding to my emails and preferred that I filed reviews and complaints than offer any sort of refund (despite the lack of anything clearly documented).
