The atmosphere is always fun…read more-- live music, cute dogs running around, great people watching, and just an overall relaxed vibe that makes it easy to spend hours there. Right now my go-to drinks are the Purple Drank and the Mangonada, while my boyfriend usually grabs one of their IPAs. The drinks are consistently good and fit the casual outdoor setting perfectly. The food is also underrated. Their cheesesteaks are excellent, and honestly everything I've had from the food trucks has been really good. This was actually the first place I ever tried spicy dill pickle chips, and now I'm hooked. One thing I especially appreciate is the QR code ordering system. It's super fast and efficient, which helps keep the experience relaxed instead of spending forever waiting in lines or trying to flag someone down. Definitely one of the best casual hangout spots in Dallas for drinks, music, and an easygoing afternoon or night out.

Let's begin by saying: I made my son go with me. YES, I did! For Mother's Day!…read moreI'm really glad he did go cause the bus ride was alot longer than I thought it would be and I would have been bored to death! We got there by about 12:45pm and it was in full swing! So much so that it took me awhile to decide what I wanted to eat cause all of the lines were so long! We ended up waiting in line for Doughboys Pizza, but got out because we thought the wait would be too long! But we were wrong! I ended up getting out of that line and into the line for Rock and Roll Tacos and waited an hour!!! YES, an hour to actually get my food and eat! We ordered one carnita, one fajita, one chicken taco and one fish taco. They were all pretty good, but the one thing I could have done without was the raw oninions...(not my fav). But let me just tell you, R&R's Fish Taco was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! You must try it! I wish I had gotten 4 of those instead. Mel and I also got 2 shaved ices from Enticed Shaved Ice and they were AMAZING!! He got a black cherry one and mine was Wedding Cake (**wink**). SOOOOO good...the ice just melted in your mouth immediately...no chewing necessary! Overall, it was great!! It got a little chilly out there after awhile, but well worth it!!

Dallas Farmers Market is a fun place to take in the ambiance and people watch. Okay, it seems kind…read moreof weird that I didn't mention food, but it's because you don't necessarily need to eat the food to enjoy this place. With lots of produce, food and gift stalls, you can find something for everyone. From fresh fruit and vegetables, to jarred spreads and sauces, there is no shortage of things to look at. But be prepared for lots of people. We had reservations for a meal after hitting this place, so I didn't try any foods. It was more about walking around and checking out the sights. I'm sure at some point I'll be back, but I would set a budget. It seems like stuff could get really expensive if you're not careful.

Not what I expected. It was disappointing. We did find a cool place that was selling picnic baskets and we got one . It's nice to visit if you're looking to eat out but that place has nothing to do with farmer's market and fresh produce. Folks that work there are nice .

The cookies they had on the day we went were: chocolate chip, double chocolate, confetti, Reese's, salt & sugar nutella, snickerdoodle, fruity pebbles, gluten-free coconut almond chip, and vegan ginger molasses. The ice cream flavors they had on the day we went were: vanilla, salted chocolate chunk, mint chip, strawberries & cream, dad's secret stash, coffee oreo, makers mark manhattan, cookies & cream, and mango sorbet. There is plenty of seating around the park. The ice cream was creamy, not overly sweet, smooth, and well blended. The flavors were all there and you can taste that quality ingredients are used. Glad we got a chance to check this place out.

The food Nammitruck provided for our wedding was excellent! The crew present at our venue was able…read moreto get through and serve ~175 guests over the course of our evening, and from what we've heard, everyone was satisfied with their meals. I do want to recommend one improvement to the quoting process for catering. In initial meetings with customers, I think it would be beneficial to walk a couple through a calculation of the itemized food prices and quantity required - and then use that to generate a quote. We received an estimate at the start of our engagement with Nammitruck and when we received our draft invoice about one week before our wedding, it had more variability than I anticipated. We ended up working through the process I outlined above and coming to an agreeable price, however, I wouldn't have anticipated doing this a week out from the big day. That being said, the team ultimately came through and delivered quality food for us and our guests, and to me, that was the most important part of why we hired them. Thanks again! The Griggs
