I really wanted some fruit and decided to give this place a try. It's in a section with a lot of fruits of fruits of food trucks. When I got there the menu and pictures are on the truck which I really liked. I went at 10 pm so when I was ordering the girl was kind of rude didn't explain what options I had. She did not tell me there was different sizes. I asked what was in the fruit cut she said the fruit you see in the refrigerator. She sold me the largest size but the cucumbers were not crunchy they were soft that was so nasty. The mangonada as the largest size they have but it didn't have much flavor. I was adding hot sauce lemon and salt that were outside the truck the self serve kind and one of the girls started putting them in as she saw I was fixing my fruit. They were talking to each other about a guy. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience spent $21 on fruit and a mangonada felt a little robbed. I probably wouldn't return or recommend this place.

Food truck in the Texaco gas's station parking lot. The elote tastes fresh and definitely not canned. It has generous amounts of Mayo and cheese and they have a ton of different hot sauces and spices you can freely add to your items. We also got a Diablito; the ice was a little rough, kind of like you would expect from cheaper snow ones and the flavor was all chamoy. I wasn't a big fan but they have a ton of things that look so good! Average price per item is ~$5. They accept cash and the service is relatively quick. Would go back and would recommend!

Everything was soooo good! Highly recommend!!! Definitely think they'd have much more potential to grow as a business if they were to move to a different location. Regardless one of the best Elotes and drinks were sooo refreshing, definitely coming back for more!!!

I was so excited to try this place. We ordered a banana split, jumbo elotes cup, mega nachos and a horchata. I tried to order tamales but they didn't have any. I enjoyed the nachos but could have done without all the crema. Be forewarned they use nacho cheese sauce, not real shredded cheese in their nachos. I was so disappointed in the elote. It didn't taste like the corn had been grilled and there was way too much mayo for me. I think they use powdered Parmesan cheese instead of cotija and they didn't include a lime wedge or anything or add chili powder. I think I was supposed to add it myself but with The Rona, I didn't think it would be a good idea to touch the bottles with seasonings and hot sauces. I don't plan to return. My boyfriend did enjoy his banana split though.

Had nachos and small elote cup and both were great ! I'd come again ...wish they had fans in the sitting area

I tried them out for the first time and I'm impressed ! The service was mucho bueno and the corn tasted so fresh . I will definitely be visiting them again Keep up the good work

I bit into something thinking it's mango. BUT IT WAS CRUNCHY SO I WAS LIKE WTF AND IT WAS A FLY?!?!?!?!?!?

I bought chamoyada & esquite. I ate the corn first then I started drinking the chamoyada. I was 5 mins away from my house when I bit into the fly thinking it was mango????? Then we had to drive all the way back just to tell them because if I get sick because of this damn fly. So they gave us a refund and one of the lady was really nice and sincerely apologizing, not justifying if it's them or not. Then another lady that gave us the money kept saying " they don't have fly here and it could've been from the street" ( but in Spanish). But we went to the car ASAP as we got our food to eat it and there was no fly on the way and the car was 10 steps away?????? Like how? I also would not want a small business to lose business but biting into a damn fly is another story and saying it was probably from the street????? I'm not lying about me biting into it too, as embarrassing as it sounds shit was crunchy and I choked on the itchy legs. I hope y'all fix this cuz that was nasty & if I get sick in the next couple days best believe I know how.

Shoyu Sugar is Hawaiian grill and a favorite amongst visitors. Boba bites and tea, had their very first event and are in the process of opening their shop soon. A business to be continued, as I love their teas! Dash realty was there too with a bean bag toss, giving out balloons and candy. Cutco with their knives. Ten thousand villages had some beautiful fair trade goodies. All vendors had quite a long line. Moi's customers faced a long time in the burning Sun, but Asians love food! Weh? Sold out within 2 hours! The DJ's supplied great vibes inside the VUKA building, which is modern, spacious, air-conditioned, a great place for events. It hosted the space for a Limbo race, and crafting paper fans by 'open eyes beyond border' for the Lil' ones. The event would take place all day, and it is a hot day. A great event! The dragon dance was very much entertaining. People had their dollar bills ready! Oh, how we love to feed the dragon to get luck and prosperity! Yes, yes, Chinese dragons are believed to have control over water, rain, hurricanes and floods. They also represent power, strength and good luck. The Chinese believe that performing the dragon dance during festivals and celebrations drives away evil spirits and ushers in good luck and blessings for the community.

My first visit to T-Loc's Sonora Hot Dogs and wow, what a way to be introduced to this spot!…read more I met up with a fellow Yelper friend and we got there not long after opening, which turned out to be a very smart move. While we were waiting for our food, it suddenly became a whole scene, it was National Hot Dog Day, and the line just kept growing and growing. People were fully committed too, hot dog shirts, hot dog hats, I'm pretty sure I saw a walking hot dog at one point. Add in folks bringing their own ice chests of beer and it felt like a little hot dog party. We decided to go big and ordered every kind of dog they make so we could share and try them all. A super sweet lady brought our order out to us, which I loved. No waiting around trying to hear someone shout out your name. And let me tell you, every single one was damn good. You really can't go wrong here. My favorite ended up being the classic chili cheese dog, because apparently I like to keep it old school, ha. But seriously, Mr. T-Loc knows exactly what he's doing with his chili recipe! I also tried an agua fresca for the first time and now I get the hype. So refreshing and good. Next time, I've got my eye on one of those big burritos because they looked crazy good, no joke. Accessibility wise, they do have accessible parking, which is a huge plus. The seating is a mix of circular and standard picnic tables, some with shade, but not the most wheelchair-friendly setup. They do have a ramp up to the covered area and I made it work by parking at an angle at the end of a table, nothing was getting between me and those dogs. Bottom line, this is a must try spot if you're craving great food and don't skip on the fresh made agua fresca!

10/10 every time. No notes just everything is perfect and phenomenal. The flavors are insane.read more

As a recipient of the prestigious Texas Monthly Top 100 BBQ Award, the expectations were high--and for the most part, they were met. The venue itself provides a fantastic, relaxed vibe, complete with plenty of TVs and a music stage, making it the perfect spot for chilling out on a lazy afternoon or settling in for an evening hang. The Main Event: Pitmaster Excellence The true test of a Texas BBQ joint is the holy trinity, and here, they nailed the fundamentals: * Brisket: This was Texas BBQ as it should be. The brisket was super juicy, delivered a profound, deep flavor, and possessed a flawless, great bark that spoke to hours of skillful smoking * Spare Ribs: A study in contrast and texture. The ribs offered a satisfying "good pull"--firm enough to bite but still falling cleanly off the bone. The thick, peppery bark was beautifully balanced by a slight sweetness from a pepper jelly glaze, adding a layer of sophisticated flavor you don't always find. * Pork Belly Burnt Ends: These were pure decadence. Each bite provided a delicious, melt-in-your-mouth experience with a distinct and welcome hint of Fierce Whiskers bourbon woven into the smoky, fatty flavor. They are so rich and irresistible, you know you shouldn't eat too many, but good luck stopping. * Jalapeño and Cheese Sausage: This locally sourced link brought the heat with a good level of spice. The flavor was excellent, though the texture leaned slightly toward the processed side, which was the only minor drawback among the meats. The Supporting Cast: Sides A great plate of BBQ requires sides that stand up to the meat, and while two of these were stars, one needs a little work. * Mac & Cheese: An absolute winner. It was cheesy, creamy, and featured an excellent smoked flavor that permeated the dish. The slightly charred edges added a delightful textural counterpoint. * Hash Brown Casserole: This was a surprisingly strong contender, offering a nice assembly of savory flavors. The secret weapon was the corn flake topping, providing an unexpected but welcome crunch, complemented by a satisfying hint of bacon. * Creamed Corn: Unfortunately, this side was the weakest link. It tasted primarily bland, despite a slight peppery note. It desperately needs some fresh jalapeños mixed in to cut through the creaminess and add the essential Texas kick. Final Verdict The meat selection here is truly Top 100 worthy, excelling in technique, flavor, and execution (especially the Brisket and Burnt Ends). The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed gathering. While the Creamed Corn missed the mark, the stellar Hash Brown Casserole and Smoked Mac & Cheese prove that their side game is usually strong. Come for the high-quality, authentic Texas barbecue, stay for the great outdoor patio.
