Food is good especially the corn in a cup or on a stick. The agua frescas or hit or miss. The issue that we continue to in counter is the women that works there in the evening. Very rude very unpleasant to interact with. Buyers be aware only the Spanish speaking people because English speaking people she very polite with. Ambiance is normal. Ah.. had high expectations because it looked so authentic but the elote had absolutely no flavor to it... it was so bland. The nachos were alright but seemed like those theater nachos you get that aren't that great. Lastly the horchata was so sweet i could not even drink it. It was way too heavy with cinnamon, then the entire cup broke. Also i think the price is pretty expensive as its from a food truck- paid 20$ for an elote a drink and a small bowl of nachos. read more

I really wanted some fruit and decided to give this place a try. It's in a section with a lot of fruits of fruits of food trucks. When I got there the menu and pictures are on the truck which I really liked. I went at 10 pm so when I was ordering the girl was kind of rude didn't explain what options I had. She did not tell me there was different sizes. I asked what was in the fruit cut she said the fruit you see in the refrigerator. She sold me the largest size but the cucumbers were not crunchy they were soft that was so nasty. The mangonada as the largest size they have but it didn't have much flavor. I was adding hot sauce lemon and salt that were outside the truck the self serve kind and one of the girls started putting them in as she saw I was fixing my fruit. They were talking to each other about a guy. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience spent $21 on fruit and a mangonada felt a little robbed. I was so excited to try this place. We ordered a banana split, jumbo elotes cup, mega nachos and a horchata. I tried to order tamales but they didn't have any. I enjoyed the nachos but could have done without all the crema. Be forewarned they use nacho cheese sauce, not real shredded cheese in their nachos. I was so disappointed in the elote. It didn't taste like the corn had been grilled and there was way too much mayo for me. I think they use powdered Parmesan cheese instead of cotija and they didn't include a lime wedge or anything or add chili powder. I think I was supposed to add it myself but with The Rona, I didn't think it would be a good idea to touch the bottles with seasonings and hot sauces. I don't plan to return. My boyfriend did enjoy his banana split though. read more

Best horchata in town! Yummy fruit cups! I don't think the fruit cups came with mango which was a slight bummer but that's okay. The corn though is amazing!!! Roasted corn that's served either on the cob or sliced off into a cup, slathered with mayo and topped with cheese and whatever topping you want (like Crushed Takis or Hot Cheetos). And they have a bunch of additional seasonings and hot sauces for you to customize your corn. I liked the corn in a cup with takis and I added some lemon pepper seasoning on top! read more

We saw that there was a long line outside and assumed it would be a good place. It took an hour alone to get our orders in. I had ordered a mangonada and my friend ordered an Oreo shake. His Oreo shake tasted like mangos. I assume they had not cleaned the blender after making mine. Seems like a health violation. The worker then had rudely said to those waiting in line at 9:45 that they would no longer be taking orders. There are better places to get your shakes and elotes. read more

I hate to say this but I was not impressed with the elote cup I was given last night. I guess I'm more used to getting them in Mexico and they coat the inside of the cup and add stuff in the bottom also where here it was basically just corn once you got thru the first inch of the cup. I bought chamoyada & esquite. I ate the corn first then I started drinking the chamoyada. I was 5 mins away from my house when I bit into the fly thinking it was mango????? Then we had to drive all the way back just to tell them because if I get sick because of this damn fly. So they gave us a refund and one of the lady was really nice and sincerely apologizing, not justifying if it's them or not. Then another lady that gave us the money kept saying " they don't have fly here and it could've been from the street" ( but in Spanish). But we went to the car ASAP as we got our food to eat it and there was no fly on the way and the car was 10 steps away?????? Like how? I also would not want a small business to lose business but biting into a damn fly is another story and saying it was probably from the street????? I'm not lying about me biting into it too, as embarrassing as it sounds shit was crunchy and I choked on the itchy legs. This elote unfortunately did not satisfy my elote craving. The corn texture was odd & just did not do it for me. Also I think the corn to other ingredients ratio varied quite a bit. HOLY ELOTES! The corn cup at Elotes Fanny was awesome! It was fresh and hot and drenched in goodness. They have every sauce you can imagine available for your choosing so that you can customize your Elotes. The Mangonata with Chamoy and tamarindo was THE BOMB. The people working there are super sweet and really nice as far as helping you figure out what you want. We have a toddler and we weren't sure what would be an appropriate snack for her. I went to the location in Dallas and it was AMAZING. I was surprised and delighted that Austin had one too so I was eager to go!..... then I went and I was disappointed. For the most part it's corn with mayonnaise and chili so how hard is it to make that good, right? I was just disappointed in the fact that the person in the cash register seemed confused when I asked for some crushed up takis and hot Cheetos in my corn even though their banner has all their corn that way... and is advertised that way as well...? The corn would've been better with nothing because the takis and Cheetos tasted weird. I also ordered one of the juices and it was eh.
