Both were absolutely phenomenal and high quality. I truly felt like I was back in Southern California with the food I was getting. There are a few benches to sit from and the taco truck is right off the I-35 and Rundberg. I would caution your surroundings depending on the time of day you come. I came later at night after work and noticed a few activities that warranted my guard being up. Absolutely love this taco truck and will be back!

I'm really excited I found this place. Their tacos are full of flavor. I tried the bistec, al…read morepastor, and albañil tacos. The albañil taco comes with chorizo, bistec, nopales, queso fresco, and cilantro. The bistec and al pastor tacos come with plenty of cilantro and grilled onion. I was happy with the amount of meat in each taco; they definitely don't skimp on the meat. I also tried both of their spicy green salsas. Everything was so good. I ate my tacos in the car and then ended up coming back for more. Tacos are $3, tortas are $12, and you have to pay with cash. You may be able to find a less expensive taco place, but these tacos are worth it. I can't wait to come back and try their tortas, which I've heard great things about. A word of warning: I recommended this place to a friend, who ordered two tacos without cilantro and a torta, paying $18 in total. Unfortunately, he was only given one taco (with cilantro) and the torta. He tried explaining the issue to the owners, but since they mostly speak Spanish he wasn't able to get the second taco he paid for. He really enjoyed the torta, but obviously was not too happy about not getting the correct tacos. I noticed they don't give any receipts when you order, so maybe asking for a receipt can avoid these types of issues in the future.

This is a food truck but let me tell you these are SOME OF THE BEST AGUACHILE VERDES I'VE EVER HAD I usually opt in for all shrimp but today decided to go mixto (mixed). & I reeeeeeallllly enjoyed how the blend had not only pescado (fish) but also pulpos (octopus). The avocado, red onions, and cucumber were perfectly portioned out so it wasn't more verduras (vegetables) than meat which is hard to find during these shrinkflation days ‍ The green salsa was perfectly spicy not overwhelming & farrrr from underwhelming. What stuck out to me most was the freshness and vibrance of the limes they used. Reminded me of key limes but that's just a guess I also got the cazuela de mariscos which appeared to have shrimp, fish, oysters, octopus & a lovely red broth/salsa drowning everything in flavor! The white cheese and avocado were a perfect touch and the garlic bread they served with this was perfect for soaking up the soup/broth this is served in. I personally like a touch more salt and was thankful that they had salt, pepper, and so many other salsas to amp up the spice/seasonings. Paired this with a Mexican coke & was in absolute heaven. I was thankful to find something open that wasn't fast food. This would be a great place for a late night bite especially out in this area. There are also plenty of options next door if you have picky eaters who may not enjoy seafood or even if you want something sweet after dinner. The music is inviting just like the staff is, really ties together the experience & transports you back to some good memories out in the back yard, at the beach, or at the park with the familia. Definitely will be back for more soon Thank you mariscos reyes for your hard work & attention to detail! I invite those of you who try this place to leave them reviews too.
