The service was intimate and everything we could have asked for. He was always ready to change anything we requested, and he was by far the easiest and most kind part of our wedding process (and that's saying something! Both of these really made our service feel more nuanced/personal to our lives. We also are really grateful for the copy of the service that we received, we look forward to looking back on it in the future.

Andrea is an excellent teacher, and she is the reason we keep coming back. The ballroom was recently bought by some new owners, and seeing the transformation over the last four months has been astounding. It was a nice place before, but it is truly breathtaking now! They have worked day and night to transform this ballroom into something grandiose. She was super helpful through the planning process and in working with our other vendors to align on timelines. She is great at giving direction and wrangling everyone without being pushy which allowed us to keep to the schedule, but still maximize our shots. Now for the photos. The photos are WELL worth the wait. Elizabeth delivered breathtaking, magazine quality images that captured every aspect of our day and every emotion we felt along the way. She also overdelivered and gave us SO many images to choose from. We are so in love. TLDR; Passionate, Professional, Breathtaking results.

This is a gorgeous estate just overlooking the Missouri river near Spanish Lake. This was an old dairy farm a couple generations ago. It is still a working farm today it appears. The wedding we attended was a modest sized outdoor wedding. The gazebo where the wedding took place was on a bluff overlooking the river. There was a tent and air-conditioned bathrooms nearby. What a gorgeous evening. Of course everything had to work out with great weather and no rain. I'm not sure if the food was brought in or organized by the estate. During this wedding, it was set up buffett style. Overall very good. With tender chicken and pasta. Looks like this place is highly rated on the Knot. Overall we had a wonderful experience and a wonderful time at the wedding.

First off, the pricing for this venue feels unfair, in the sense that for everything that you get, I don't think the price is high enough. Secondly, the farm is a true, authentic farm and not some phony location made to look like one. Finally, this property has breathtaking and unbeatable photography spots. My fiance and I were supposed to get married here several years ago. There was an unfortunate turn of events and, long story short, we did not get married. I was devastated. I called and asked for my money back, given my circumstances. I didn't get my money back, and even though it sucked, it's fine, because October 13 is a prime date, and venues don't exist and maintain themselves for by magic (though, Kuhs Farm so beautiful that you'd think it we're). That's just life. Ruining their reputation wouldn't have resolved my pain, financial issues, or any other problems I had going on in my life; it's sad to see that some people left such negative reviews thinking that it would resolve theirs. Whomever is reading these reviews, don't buy the stack of 1-star reviews. Clearly, they don't follow the rest of the trend. Do yourself a favor and tour the venue and talk to the owner (Elizabeth). You'll be happy you chose this place, seriously.

Switzerfilm was the first vendor that I called after getting engaged and I told them that I would pick my wedding day based on whatever availability they had. From start to finish, they were wonderful, creative, professional, and an absolute joy to work with. Switzerfilm was by far my favorite part of our wedding day. They made me feel so special throughout the whole day. My husband never likes getting his picture taken, but even he loved Switzerfilm. They were able to capture the most amazing photographs and video footage. I had very high expectations of Switzerfilm from the very beginning and they surpassed what I had even pictured in my head. The pricing is very comparable, especially when you figure in that you have full rights to all of your pictures afterwards. Out of all the amazing things that Switzerfilm does right, the same day edit completely blew me away. They will put the video on a huge projector screen so the whole reception can enjoy it. To have the whole reception stop, walk away from the bar, and be completely quiet is nothing short of a miracle. Switzerfilm has THAT affect. After our video was played I had countless people come up to me and tell me how perfect it was and how they want/wished they had that at their wedding. My parents are still getting stopped by people in the grocery store 5 months later telling them how much they enjoyed our video. It is the most perfect keepsake from our wedding that we will truly enjoy for a lifetime. I am forever thankful to Switzerfilm for helping me have the wedding of my dreams!
