I said YES to the dress here at Elope! I live in Lakeland and drive by this location daily. I've seen the dresses in the window and started following them on social media. I saw a few in their inventory that peaked my interest and thought it would be great to buy local. My bridesmaids are mostly out of state so I created a Teams meeting for them to "attend" the shopping event. Tiffany was fantastic. She gave me free rein to pick any dresses I wanted to try. She placed my computer in the perfect spot to allow my bridesmaids to see everything that was happening. The very first dress I put on brought literal tears to my eyes. It fit, it checked all my boxes and it just felt like it was mine Every dress after this dress was compared. Tiffany helped me zip, button, fluff each dress as I tried them on. Wow. Look no further! This was an amazing experience and I left with a gorgeous dress. Kathleen was phenomenal. Long story short, after a wedding dress fiasco I was left with less than two weeks. I discovered Elope while and had an appointment by 3 PM. Despite my chaos and arriving late with a three year-old in tow, Kathleen made me feel completely at ease. She was so friendly and patient, right away I was sure I would find a dress and relaxed. The store is fairly new and I had not seen any reviews, but I had seen reviews from other dress stores. Most had terrible reviews so I kind of expected this no matter where you went... But you cannot go wrong here. Also worth mentioning, many reviews talked about feeling pressured to buy, and do so outside of their price range. Not only zero pressure but she was fantastic about gently guiding me away from dresses that were over my price range. That said, I'm not a very good listener and ended up with a more expensive dress than I planned, but 100% my doing and totally worth it. The dress doesn't even need alterations! There is a good range of prices, and affordable. They were all beautiful! NOT related to Elope... One last piece of advice based on my own experience - ordering online even when you think you don't want to spend on a dress - The dresses look terrible in person, even tho they are mostly like the photo. And they make it impossible to return- IF it even shows up. Hindsight- spending the extra money for a dress I will actually use and the special experience of trying on dresses in person. read more
