They have an after school program that includes tutoring and the people running it are awesome my daughter's math scores have improved significantly. They offer Saturday school and if your child has missed a day attending Saturday school, which is only 4hours, it makes that day up. In Saturday school the children have options to do crafts, cooking, sewing, art, and other activities that they do not get to do in school. They are currently building a new office and classrooms the construction is coming along beautifully. The yard monitors are always supervising and helping the students. All in all this is a wonderful school for elementary aged students

This morning was a tough one, and there was no way around the school bus, so I had my child walk about 200 yards to his class (which I NEVER do), which was not in my vision. I called the office and asked if they could just confirm he got there, and Jeanette told me she could not. Wow, really??? She said they are not allowed to tell callers if a child made it to class or not, but I could come down there and ask in person. Well that is really inconvenient, say if it were his father calling, due to me being out of town, and he works 2 hours away! Anyway enough ranting about their "rules". *** I am very happy with the new principal, Mr. Tanaka, who came in this year and completely changed the way things were ran at this school. We abhorred Vinewood last year, and the previous principal was less than adequate. But Mr. Tanaka really cares about the children, and has made changes that have changed the school for the better. Hopefully he is the deciding factor in getting Vinewood's reputation back up to excellent, as it was 8+ years ago.*** ***Mr. Tanaka is an asset to this school, and I and other parents I talk too hope he stays awhile.***

Now to Ms. Ben Ali, I was minding my business in class doing absolutely nothing but my work in class and haven't said a single word the whole time because i hate everyone and everything in that class, then Ms. Ben Ali comes up and makes me give me my phone for no absolute reason, I haven't looked or even touched my phone the whole time, I didn't even have data at the time to even do anything on my phone. Anyways now to the students, the students are literally so mean and are a big reason on why i hate school, there's always new rumors about me, there always sliding in some mean comments when i haven't even done anything, there always saying stuff about my appearance like I didn't already know, and so much more stuff. I swear students are always doing stuff that should be taken care of and should have consequences, but they no one ever does anything, now let's also talk a little bit about dress code, yes dress code is whatever but it's the unfairness, there are some students that I will not name that are always getting favorited and never getting dress coded, and then there are some that are always getting picked on (more then just dress code) I genuinely hate that school, school is supposed to my escape from home because I hate being home, but I just feel like i'm trapped in a never ending bad loop, i really can't wait to get out of this school, the students are such bad influences too, and if you want your child to actually learn and not hate school, DONT put them in this school, Delta Sierra Middle School.

My children are currently attending in elementary and middle school academies. It is different than…read moreyour typical school but adjusting has been a breeze and the staff has helped so much in that transition. My children so far are happy, engaged, and excited to go to school and that's what's truly important. Is it perfect? No but no school is and this school's pros definitely outweigh the cons. I plan on keeping my children here until they graduate and transferring my children 2 years ago was the best decision I made. :)
