They have an after school program that includes tutoring and the people running it are awesome my daughter's math scores have improved significantly. They offer Saturday school and if your child has missed a day attending Saturday school, which is only 4hours, it makes that day up. In Saturday school the children have options to do crafts, cooking, sewing, art, and other activities that they do not get to do in school. They are currently building a new office and classrooms the construction is coming along beautifully. The yard monitors are always supervising and helping the students. All in all this is a wonderful school for elementary aged students

This place is the place that scared me for half of my life. When I first started there was a great staff Ms. Smallie was the head of the school and wonderful teachers. Then she decided to leave at this point not sure why but did. This is when it went down hill a family named the Stevenson s took over. They had favorites most the kids who would kiss their children rear ends. I was along with a few other children treated badly locked in closet for being bad when it was their children causing issues. Told we couldn't attend functions because we were too fat or too big that it scared the other kids. Had other kids make fun. Of me when my grandmother passed at the age of 7 telling me that she died to get away from me and because I was catholic. Don't send your kids here. These people are nuts.

Like many of us, I was so nervous to send my Covid-era…read morebaby out into the world and start his school journey, but from our first tour of the school, I started to feel like it was going to be okay. I was given very detailed information about what the program would entail and was able to see a class in session before enrolling. As my son completes pre-k in a few weeks, I have to give a shout out to Ms. Mayte and the team (especially Ms. Seena and Ms. Miriam) for all they have done for us. My son started the school year pretty shy and apprehensive and has blossomed into a bubbly and social preschooler. It's been an amazing thing to see. The school gives us regular updates throughout the week on the Brightwheel app and anytime I've had any questions or needed some time to chat, I would hear back from his teachers promptly. We get photos through the app as well that are always exciting. Sometimes it's a snap of playtime, a celebration, or completing a milestone and receiving kudos. Along with the basics of letters and numbers, my son has gotten to learn about different cultural holidays and has loved telling us what he's learned. He always seems to be doing a new activity and doing the half day program has definitely been the right choice for our family. Ms. Mayte took the time to really get to know our son and has been instrumental in all areas of his development this year. I can only hope that he will continue to have great teachers for the rest of his academic journey!

Our child comes home every day enthusiastic about what he had learnt, and we've noticed tremendous improvement in his confidence and skills. Communication has also been excellent--thoughtful updates, quick responses, and genuine care in every interaction. It's clear that Ms. Mayte is passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping every student thrive. We truly appreciate everything she have done for our kid and feel very fortunate to have her as our child's teacher. Rocio Flores, the principal is not on top of things. She does not inform me (parents) about…read moreimportant things (like events) sometimes. I also observed that Flores does not like to talk to some parents and some school workers (that are not teachers). I had talked to Flores several times this year about my child and about teacher Empie not being clear on things, having a anger problem and yelling at the kids too much, etc. When my child was disciplined a few times this year, the principal would not listen to my child's side of the story. I feel like we are picked on because we are REPUBLICANS.
