This review is for their restaurant, not the golf course…read more We were brought here by relatives for a special occasion dinner. Our relatives are members as this is a members only facility. The grounds were beautiful, the driveway was lined with old trees and the club house looked beautiful in the distance. We ate in the grill, it is more casual, the dress code is more relaxed and we had 2 small children with us. The waitress was an older woman and she was great. Service was slowish but not too bad, she did her best with our large group (13) and she smiled the whole time. The menu had many safe items on it, chicken parm, NY Strip steak, etc. The entrees are on the high side, $28-$32, but we were also offered the grill menu with sandwiches and salads and fried items. In hind sight that would have been a better option. Every entree was poorly executed and everything was completely over cooked. My salmon was beyond well done and my partners steak, ordered MR was beyond well done. The vegetable was asparagus and we each received 4 small spears of asparagus, why bother? The side I chose was the curry rice and it was beyond disgusting. Everyone in our party was so disappointed but no one said a word as we were brought there by family members who are required to spend money on food every quarter or they are charged. Really? My advice if you are in this place for dinner. Order off the grill menu. I'd rather eat a sandwich than a $28 small piece of over cooked salmon.

For the most part I agree with James S.' review of the food in 2011. It lacked consistency and was…read morerelatively expensive compared to other meals in the area. However in 2018 and 19, with a new chef and wait staff, this is by far the best restaurant in Central New York. I have eaten there many times over the years and within the past 2 years, since Chef Mike came on board, the food has been absolutely outstanding. I invite you to try again James.

I'll start by saying I'm not from the area, and I have no idea what its like on a typical in-season…read moreweekend morning. My son goes to college nearby, and I was looking for a place we could play and get through our round as fast as possible, as we had afternoon plans. I checked their website for tee times, and EVERY time was available from 8-4, so I banked on us getting through our round pretty quickly which ended up being the case. It was cool, but not cold and calm and quiet, really nice. Like others have stated, cart paths need work, and some of the signs on the holes look like Halloween decorations. Some of the tee boxes are weird, some are muddy, some are not entirely flat, but the layout is pretty good and the greens were in great shape, especially for it being late October. The veiws with foliage are spectacular, and $32 for 18 with a cart on a weekend is what kicked it up to 4 stars for me.

This was our first time golfing here. first impressions have a big impact. the clubhouse is dated…read moreat best. the course itself is laid out beautifully with a few very challenging holes. The signage needs updating. we had a difficult time navigating the course. Some of the tee boxes are in complete shambles. You'd need a hammer to put your tee into the ground. The cart paths are disastrous and borderline dangerous, tree roots, rocks, uneven and uncomfortable to drive on. It was slow that day so we didn't have anyone pushing us but we did have to wait for a foursome of kids with very foul mouths. Some beautiful scenery for sure. The money we spent there was very high for the conditions we endured. we like to try different courses and I can say honestly we won't be returning to Fillmore Glen anytime soon. Hope this helps anyone who is considering this course..
