Ellison Painting pressured washed the 3 car garage and 2 story house in one day. They also fixed some wood damage found on dormer of garage. They prepped both structures and protected all plants around the structures that were inground. The house color and trim color as well as front door are just amazing! We selected Ellison Painting because a good friend had used them plus we had opportunity to watch them painting a nearby home as well. Their crew members are so mannerly and polite and wonderful in doing an excellent job. The crew is efficient and productive and timely in doing their job! read more

These guys are true professionals. Took my 1976 Wainwright home and removed the popcorn ceiling, repaired holes, scratches, wear and tear, and brought it up to date. Brandon was very helpful in assisting the color selection. Never knew you could reduce the color and that made it just right. Their crews were here when they said they would be. Their time estimate was dead on. Brandon and Adam were always available to answer questions. Had 3 different crews, one for removal of the ceiling and repairs, one to texture, and a painting and finishing crew. All were polite and professional. Totally satisfied with their work. It wasn't by some fly by night hacks. It has the WOW factor. Thank you Ellison Painting, doing business with you was a pleasure. read more

Extremely disappointed in Ellison's painting. They came highly recommended, however I am sitting here waiting over 2 hours late for our appointment for Brandon to give me an estimate to paint the exterior of my home. I will not be giving them my business. read more

I had the exterior of my home painted and will definitely be calling on this team again, when I'm ready to paint the interior. The price was very reasonable and worth every penny!! This team of guys truly works together better than any team I have met. They function like a well oiled machine - checking each other's work, making sure to explain what will be done each day and ensuring customer satisfaction with every step. Their quality of work is flawless!! The boss is genuine and very easy to talk to. He stayed on top of it from the start with his very thorough assessment/quote of needed work all the way through to the end of the project. He shows up on the job to check progress and ensure complete customer satisfaction. It's been well over a month now and people still catch me outside to compliment the work and ask for Ellison's contact info. read more

Needed help painting all the cabinets in the house. Brandon and his team were very friendly and helpful. Brandon actually showed us what the finish product would be in his warehouse. They were able to move a few things around and got the job done very quickly. We are very happy with the results! Would definitely work with them again. read more

We just now had our house painted here in Merced, at the southeast intersection of Columbia and Cordova Avenues. Very nice job. Compliments from people passing by. It looked so good, I immediately installed a nice, brand new American flag above our garage. Patriot proud. Thank you SO much Ellison's Painting. The house went from dreary to bright and cheery. Thank you. We love it. read more

When you start a job I feel like that job needs to be finished before you start another and these guys were constantly bouncing in and out my house for about a week and a half. I assume to take care of other customers. Our home had been rented out for quite some time so it needed to be painted badly. This company was recommended by a few people. I regret it immensely. I should have just taken the time and done it myself. The time I waited for them to finish I probably could have done it in the evenings after work and the weekends. And I would have saved myself some money and a lot of hassle. Oh and it probably wouldn't have turned out so horribly! I was told nail holes would be filled. I didn't realize when I was told that I would be able to tell you where every single nail hole was because they just slapped the spackle on and left flat spots everywhere. And I'm not talking like 1/2" flat spots I'm talking 6" flat spots and more than one on a single wall. I was also told they wash the walls down before painting but the little lint balls on a large majority of my walls say otherwise. I had a small wall I removed myself and the wall needed minimal touch up because the wall was added after the home was built. I'm talking minimal sanding of layered paint strips(probably could have been scratched off with a putty knife) from the corners of the removed wall and instead they literally took a trowel and went from the ceiling to the floor and made the wall perfectly flat in about an 8 inch wide section. I had to put a china hutch in front of it because it looks so awful!!!!! They didn't get the edges of the ceiling where it meets the wall when they sprayed it and you can tell. They also liked using my air conditioner while spraying so the blower fan in my unit was covered in paint, the filter could only stop so much. The air conditioner vents and filter returns were not removed and painted, they just sprayed them on the ceiling which left the return vent nice and textured from the dust build up. My garage was used to paint but I guess they didn't feel it was important to put some plastic walls up because I had overspray on the things that were in the garage. The water lines to the toilets weren't masked off so there's overspray on them. I came by one afternoon to check on the progress and my kitchen faucet was broken, I had missing glass covers for lights, and there were a couple of other issues along the way. A horrible experience to say the least!!!! read more

We purchased our dream home and it needed some updating. We got several bids and Brandon Ellison offered us the most reasonable cost. We were hesitant at first, thinking we would get a subpar paint job. Brandon came out walked the project with us and assured us we would get an outstanding paint job and experience. He did not let us down. Our house is the talk of the block! Our neighbors have commented on the paint job. They say it is the best looking house in our area. I keep referring them to Brandon. His crew is professional, hard working, and respectful. They showed up on time and took care of our items. Brandon went beyond the call of the job. He even picked up our baseboard from Lowes so it can be painted and installed by the flooring contractor. We are beyond satisfied with Ellis paintings service and job! Would definitely hire them again! read more

Very reasonable prices and quality work. Brandon is a great guy and makes sure the job is done as promised and agreed upon - on time. He knows what he's doing and makes good recommendations about paint color, combinations, etc. They did the entire interior and exterior of my house and even replaced all the fascia boards behind my gutters (for a small extra charge), which were rotted and falling apart. The place looks totally new! Will definitely use them again when needed. read more

Provided a fair price for their work. Jobs finished quickly and without issues. Always called to see my level of satisfaction and if there were any issues with the job. The couple of times I notified of issues, they were handled without delay - generally the same day. I have used Ellison Painting for a number of jobs and have not been disappointed. read more

Brandon Ellison stands by his work. My neighbor hired Ellison's painting to paint her house and I asked him to touch up a board when I saw the crew. No hesitation and a pleasure to work with. read more
