We sprang for the warranty in case of repair, resizing, etc. Twelve years later, somehow, I bent the ring out of shape. The only locations for this jeweler now are 45+ minutes away, but I brought it in. They couldn't find my name in the system, so I needed to come back with the warranty paperwork. Brought it back a second time, and they said they would either have to add gold to it for $300, or, because the set has been discontinued, I could buy an updated/extended warranty. However, they couldn't tell me how much that would cost, and either way, I'd have to bring in the necklace too. WTF bullshit is this? That would make 4 trips in total. So I tried Stanley Brown, 15 minutes away. Super nice staffer there said she'd round the ring out for me, free of charge. She was done in five minutes and it fits perfectly. I plan on bringing everything here if it needs repairs, and will stop here first for fancy jewelry.

The lady that helped me told me that the person that would service the watch was not in and would it would take a couple of days. A few days later they call me and tell me that the watch isn't working with the new battery. I thought it was weird that it wasn't working since it was before the battery dies. So I took it to the Swap o Rama flea market and the gentleman there opened the watch and told me that they bent a piece that holds the battery in place. He said instead of removing the piece probably by removing the screws they tried to pry it out and in turn scratching the pieces and bending the piece. So he ended up ordering the replacement parts and fixed it for me. I wouldn't recommend this place. If you do happen to do business here be very careful because if they are doing this type of work, I can imagine where else they're cutting corners or deceiving customers. Whether it's with watches or gold jewelry that they sell or buy. I mean, I got my watch fixed at a flea market for God sakes.
