I also had a terrible experience there. I brought my bike in to have my chain fixed. They told me I needed a new chain, I said fine, they charged me 34 Euros and an hour later I picked up my bike. However, one of the gears did not work at all. A few days later I brought it back and asked them to please repair the bike so that all the gears work, like before; otherwise, I would like my money back. They pretended they didn't know who I was. I went home and got my receipt, returned to the shop and then the repair man said; "you only bought a chain! we told you that your gear rig is broken, and that you needed a new one too!" Which is funny, since all of a sudden they remembered me, even though 20 minutes earlier they seemed to not have any idea who I was.
Of course, they had never mentioned anything about a broken gear rig the first time, and even if they had, it's unlikely I would have answered: "No, I would only like to have a partially functional bicycle - please, only repair the chain so that some gears don't work".
I'm taking them to small claims court. I advise anybody reading this to take your bicycle to any other shop - a repair person who does not communicate honestly from the start or does a poor repair job and then doesn't own up should not be allowed to run a business. It seems I'm not only the one who got shafted by these crooks. read more
