Amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, basketball court, sand volleyball court, hiking trail, WiFi, parking and an on-site restaurant. Cabin accommodations come in different configurations with most rooms including a fireplace and deck offering beautiful mountain or lake views. We've visited the lodge three times now. The last time was October 2020, and it was great to discover that UCLA continues to upgrade its facilities with new amenities including a tavern (they serve adult beverages!) as well as pickleball courts. We've enjoyed our visits every time, but IMO the cabins are due for a renovation/upgrade. After our most recent visit Memorial Day weekend, I would also warn guests to beware of oakworms or leafrollers (moth caterpillars that rappel down on silken threads) which seemed to be everywhere this time of year. The amenities were incredible…read more-- tennis courts, basketball courts, a swimming pool with jacuzzi, cornhole (a game I've missed playing in the Midwest!), and so much more. The main lodge had tea and coffee stocked every day, which was so nice. Rooms also came equipped with a Keurig in case you didn't want to make the trek to the lodge. The staff were incredibly kind. From food staff to receptionist to bar staff, everyone was so accommodating. One small thing though was the drinks from the bar tasted a bit funny. Both mine and my partner's drinks had this weird barbecue sauce flavor, which was odd! The lodge is a quick 20-minute (free) bus ride to the village, which is small but definitely worth a visit. :)

We got the Capri panini and Mediterranean veggie sandwich with a side of veggies and fruit, and both were delicious. Our waiter was so accommodating and even let us pick a non-alcoholic drink from the fridge. I got a hibiscus rose soda, and she poured it into a fancy glass for me, which honestly made it so much more fun hehe. The interior is super cute and welcoming, and there's even a little gift shop in the front. Friendly staff, very clean bathrooms, and the lake view is amazing! Such a great new addition to the town. I'd definitely come back here every time we visit Lake Arrowhead!

They had non-alcoholic wine that was tasty! I had the salad and it was one of the best ones I've had. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor which was perfect because I have mobility problems. The furnishings were very comfortable in the living room and included two couches and each of us relaxed alone on a couch which were facing each other, as we chatted and watched the sunset. My little dog also enjoyed the welcoming setting; it felt like home to all of us. The kitchen was excellently equipped. I hope to return with my daughter and her family of five. Upstairs had numerous beds and I think the house could easily handle 8-9 guests with beds. In the morning our breakfasts were excellent and prepared exactly as we wished. Again we had a beautiful view through a large window.

The volunteers that maintain the museum say they change the information and displays annually. The volunteers were so welcoming and informative. One drives from Huntington Beach just to volunteer at the museum, which is insane. There are interactive displays and a projector room. They even put a display in the bathroom because they have so much stuff. Tip: if you go in the side room, there's free candy.

The "who is who" in Lake Arrowhead has membership here since it is $ 50,000 per year. Yes, it is a private golf course. Sometimes they have charity events and "high end" golf competitions.
