First off to say, I'm not an elk, but I have been in here quite a few times for events. Our high school class has had several reunions here, and we just recently had our 45th. The place is clean, and it's just such a nice atmosphere. Not too fancy. A very nice atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly, and he made sure to take very good care of us. If there was anything we needed, somebody was there to help. The food was excellent. We had a choice. Of either chicken or grill your own steak, with all the trimmings. I had the steak, and it was very decent sized. It came with seasoning, barbecue sauce, and butter if you wanted to put it on, and then you just popped it onto the grill, and in a few minutes, your dinner was ready. My steak came out, perfectly, medium rare. It was tender, and it was delicious. They had several different desserts, and they were also very good. Let me start by saying I am not an Elk member. On a work visit to Eureka my boss who is a member brought me to this lodge for a drink before dinner. First off the location and facility is really nice. The building is huge with so much meeting / congregating space. Most importantly are the members. Such a warm welcoming group. From the person checking in people, to the bartender to just people hanging out.... All very hospitable people. Had a couple of drinks and some good conversations. I could see becoming an Elk sometime. read more

Members only private charitable community organization. Best modern venue for larger events. Great organization and great people. No hats. No foul language. Very family friendly. They support a lot of community endeavors and have done so for many years. They support veterans. Great place to be involved and get to know people. read more

Large facility on the outskirts of Eureka. Huge parking lot. Friendly staff, looks like an ideal place for receptions, etc. our group had a buffet luncheon. Green salad, vegetable assortment, massive pieces of very fried chicken and slices of meat swimming in a sauce. Fortunately the company was sterling....food not. read more

Very elegant lodge. Very well maintained. Front office gal not a very happy person. No greeting or welcome, just " are you an RVer, register at the bar. RV lot does not live up to the overall lodge. It was a very crowded dirt lot that was very difficult to pilot a 45' Motor Coach through and park. We had to ask two people to please move their autos so we could leave early the next morning. read more

This is a great place to make friends, have dinner and reasonably priced drinks. Actually the best priced drinks in the area. Cook your own steak and rib nights are fun and there is great entertainment too. read more

There is no better place in town to have cocktails and a steak on Friday night. The Elks' Lodge has great food and drinks and is very affordable because the staff is comprised entirely of volunteers. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and nice. read more

Great camp spot for members only. People are very friendly. Lodge is big and spacious right next to Eureka municipal golf course. Campground is in a little valley. read more

Beautiful lodge. Unfriendly members @bar. Front desk person very nice, but not another person even acknowledged we were there. Just traveling thru and stopped for soft drink. 8 or 9 obviously local members sitting under sign that red "Friendly Corner". They should take that sign down! Definitely not friendly to us or the other traveler that came i have just ahead of us. Just sucked down our cokes & left. I don' t think they even noticed! Definitely won't bother to stop next time. read more
