I would recommend following their Instagram or sign up for their email newsletters to get first notification of when enrollments start. I've learned so much so far - especially with Mac as our teacher Honestly such a fun studio, I look forward to coming here after work all the time. :)

I am taking another class here, so I feel like I should update again. I haven't been back to open…read morestudio, but the place seems more inviting now than it was before. I haven't seen any issues with the amount of clay that is available, and my teacher has been more than willing to mix up what I need. Edit 4/22/2014 I went to open studio this weekend. The monitor was super helpful, but there was no space to do anything and my stuff was moved multiple times by co-op members... I understand that there is a show next weekend, but maybe open studio time should be geared more toward accommodating the people that are paying to be there and less on the co-op members pushing you out of the way to get their stuff done on time... I hate to say this, 1. because I know I will go back there and I really do not mean to offend anyone... I am just giving my opinion and 2. because all of the classes I have taken there have been amazing. However, I keep having not great experiences at open studio. That being said, I have had some open studio's that were great... but not nearly as many as were bad.

Seven Fields Borough - Borough of Seven Fields Municipal Center

I've lived in Seven Fields for over 20 years now. We were among the first residences to be built…read morehere as the neighborhood began to develop & we lived in one of the original townhomes while our house was under construction. We've stayed because we genuinely like it here and it's a convenient location. The Borough had a master plan in place from the very beginning and has stuck to it as the neighborhood grew. The idea was to have restaurants, grocery shopping, doctors, sports activities, etc. within a walkable residential area and they have indeed achieved that. Since busy Route 228 bisects the 2 sections of Seven Fields, most everyone still drives to our destinations but they are nearby. The addition of the Adams Shoppes bordering the other side of Seven Fields has only enhanced the convenience. The neighborhood offers a Community Center that can be rented inexpensively by the residents. The neighborhood pool is great for kids and a season pass is reasonably priced. Swimming lessons and special events are available there. There are baseball and soccer fields surrounding the town park, playground and pool. The only thing overlooked there is a dog park. There are certainly enough canine residents here to warrant one. The past few years the neighborhood has hosted a carnival that has been very well attended with amusement rides, food, music and fireworks during a June weekend in conjunction with the weekend garage sale. The Borough is governed by a council, mayor and Borough Manager. They have always seemed to be a dedicated team who have made very thoughtful decisions and have always gotten the necessary jobs done as frugally as possible with the tax dollars entrusted to them. The roads are in great shape, the snow is removed in a timely manner, the police and fire companies respond quickly and it generally feels pretty safe here. Is it the most picturesque? Not quite, but it's home.

Shop density is high so one has to explore a bit to find everything. Lowe's is out there which makes it a go to place for us. Major business build out as well -- lots of employment opportunities.

I came for the opening of their new…read morerestaurant, Buckets and was pleasantly surprised to see that there was also a Starbucks, cabaret theater, LeBron Jones memorabilia shop, candy store, and grab-and-go beer spot. There's also great lounge and seating nooks. I think there's even more downstairs. I'm not super familiar with the LeBron James Foundation's work in Akron, but this space feels like a great gathering spot for the community.

I asked the cashier how much it was and she stated $17. I decided to look around the Farmers Market first and get the Tote on my way out. I came back and got the Tote, it rang up at $18 this time with tax and asked if I wanted to add a tip. I said No and continued my purchase. When I got home, I looked at the receipt and saw not only was the Tote a dollar more, but a $3.60 tip was added after I said No. I like the Tote but I do not like being ripped off.
